Misc Unresponsive to amphetamine ?

Hey all,

Last week I got my hands on what supposed to be excellent amphetamine. However when I snorted the substance I barely felt something. No real euphoria or energy; no speedy effect at all and not even horny

Now besides 3-4 times having used some of the 2c-x compounds couple of months ago, I had been clean for more than two years.

Also like 2-3 weeks ago I used for the first time cocaine again. The product itself was relatively good when I was looking at all my friends, but again I didn't feel very much. However compared to the amphetamine, I felt more, but nothing close to what it should feel like being on coke. When we went on the streets eventually, I became super paranoia and had to go home because I couldn't stand it.

What's important here is that I used to react great on all these substances. However untill 2-3 weeks ago I had been on wellbutrin(bupropion) for about a year.
So when I first snorted the cocaine I was still on the wellbutrin. Since I was actually getting out of the depression, I stopped taking the wellbutrin. Tommorow this is two weaks ago that I had my last pill of wellbutrin. So last week I used cocaine again and the effects were significantly better than when I was still on the wellbutrin.

But it's now 2 weeks ago that I had the wellbutrin, so how is it possible that I can't feel the amphetamine ??

Does this still had to do with the wellbutrin ? Is this possible ?

Or is it possible that I am forever doomed to be unresponsive to the great qualities of speed and cocaine.

Tommorow I'll have some coke again so I'll see what my response then is...

That's very unlikely as all my friends have been using the same batch and it was tested at 65 %, which is considering the 73 % max. purity pretty high.

"73% max purity" is bullshit... nobody but shady dealers say that kind of shit.

if it's been tested and verified to have some sort of activity in others, it's probably some combination of residual buproprion/metabolites still interfering, or maybe you expect too much. maybe you are just not doing enough. you'd probably want 50-100mg of ~60% purity amphetamine to "feel good".

the best idea is to wait at least a month or more since you got off antidepressants, and take some amphetamine in a new setting.

Probably and hopefully it has to do with the bupropion.
It can't be the dosage as I've tried from 25mg up to 200mg; all had practicially the same effect.

However on the first part you're wrong.
I dunno where you're from, but in the Netherlands (and even belgium) you can go have your drugs labtested; so it wasn't our dealer that said how pure it was.
And 73 % is the max. percentage you can get once they test it.

You're technically right, if you're using amphetamine freebase as your reference point. But nobody ever calculates dosages in terms of the freebase, nor is that what's sold/handled on the streets. If we are being picky, amphetamine hydrochloride would be 79% pure, etc...

If you count purity in terms of % drug as salt, the best purity is 100%.

I can personally attest to interactins of bupropion with dextroamphetamine, at least in the dosages commonly given. I find that 150 -300 mg bupropion totally (or near enough) blocks activity of 10 mg Adderall. If one is off the wellbutrin even overnight (took yesterdays dose but not today's), the adderall works fine.

I also find that a dose of wellbutrin helps with the comedown, almost but not quite lengthening the speedy adderall buzz- the buzz is just a bit less fun and speedy, but comedown is way easier.

And wellbutrin is EXTREMELY useful when coming off of amphetamines, either dex-, or meth-. Only thing that seems to help you out of the brain fog. But no stimulation to speak of.

Recheck dose. Also maybe you hav add/ADHD? People with any related disorders are prescribed ampjetamine for a reason, because it makes people woth sed disorder feel more "normal". So, if it were me, I would maybe try take a little more than a normal dose (something someone wih ADHD mit have to do). However a more likely option is that speed doesn't get you high like how your used to. Speed high is, as I Lways say, instead of being a high, is more like feeling more sober than usual. Most people don't recognize the high because they don't really effect uou like psychedlics.A lot of people don't like speed

And theres no 73% purity max.... the crystal in my area tests in the 90 percentile, the last lab test I saw from a dealer was 94% and it was a legit lab testing place but where I live, no one is allowed to cut the product, by orders from the higher-ups and they have mass-manufacturing down so they aren't looking to bulk up anything, rather sell it pure as they make it and get more people severely addicted....

Oh and as far as purity, my pharmaceutical Desoxyn (Desoxyephedrine is the chemical name for meth and thats where they got the pharmaceutical brand name Desoxyn, probably because of stigma the old Methedrine got replaced) Anyways, it is 99.99% pure according to the literature from the manufacturer.....

the only excellent amphetamine is that made by GSK and the others who have to meet standards, everything else that is made by someone other than a professional is not worth it
