Okay... i'm writing this as the extremely unpleasant jitteryness, lack of euphoria, insane heart rate and lack of physical wellbeing have subsided in SWIM.
SWIM was looking for amphetamine sulfate, but ended up with this weird crap.
SWIM reports it had no smell, it barely burned in the nose and was very soluble, even dripped out of the nose and made it very runny. The taste was hard to describe... definitely chemical, very slightly bitter, synthetic, reminds of an artificial sweetener with a hint of base-like properties. Powder itself looked like what you would expect from something synthetic ... hard to describe, but definitely a very fine/small particle powder.
The effect itself came on extremely slowly and seemed to not have an effect at all, until it became clear that it was giving a powerful non-euphoric rush with no feelings of warmth. Thoughts were racing and the body couldn't keep up, like an empty rush with un-confident energy. The waves of energy were irregular and stormy, like the heart that pounded in the same unpleasant manner. Heart rate became unbearable eventually and reminded SWIM of an overdose from caffeine. In fact, SWIM reports it felt exactly like he would expect to feel like from a high dose of caffeine, but SWIM has read, that caffeine powder burns like hell and that it has a rather identifiable odor too.
The dose administered was perhaps somewhere around half of a gram. The effects for around the first 3-4 hours were not so unbearable, but SWIM was outside and moving around during this. However when SWIM got home at midnight, he realized, that it's going to be a sleepless and dreadful night. The whole experience kept getting more intense and unbearable and when he went to bed to try and get sleep, he simply kept changing sleeping positions in the bed and trying to meditate/calm his heart and mind down, which was impossible as every second the rush kept reinforcing itself. Eventually he took 2 pills of nitroglycerin and a valium and within minutes of administering them, the heart stabilized, however the mind is still showing no signs of accepting any form of sleep. Thoughts are not racing anymore, but the general state of mind is very AWAKE, as well as the eyes do not wish to be closed at all. The body feels tired, except for the heart which still beats at a faster-than-normal pace. The trip has practically lasted 10 hours.
SWIM had also drinked heavy doses of strong alcohol the previous and the same day and he had gotten enough sleep during the night before. SWIM has also regularly done amphetamine sulfate for the past 3 weeks nearly every day and he became used to it experiencing rather harmless crashes and being able to sleep normally on it. But he still had a overall sense of well being, more energy and euphoria when he did it as compared to this UFO substance.
Any help from this board with identifying what this substance might be? It was definitely not amphetamine sulfate and the guy who sold it called it UFO and said it was twice as strong as regular amphetamine.
EDIT: SWIM has also had rather insane heart burn episodes and general feelings of unpleasantness including racing thoughts or anxiety after heavy drinking when his hangover finally arrives. So the drinking on the previous days probably made this experience worse for him. However if he had done some amphetamine sulfate, he would have not even remembered that alcohol gives him hangovers.
