Why is it every time this sort of topic has been mentioned the same things come up everytime. it has been established that asking if they are a cop is obviously not true. so stop goin on about it and search the threads and u will find out this sort of thing.

Have you ever wondered why you never got that phone call after that lovely police man confiscated your entire stash of grass and/or pills and took your phone number?
Cos there's way too much paper work involved in they'd rather take it themselves form time to time..
DONT try and tell me it doesnt happen cos im related to someone now retired from the police force who admits it happens.
To make my point, I was one of the unfortunate people who went to Rush Hour in Homebush last week, (which I HAVE to say was fucked more ways than a Two Bit Bankok whore, the BIGGEST waste of $53 that ive EVA had the displeasure of being parted from in my life... my advice.. DONT GO TO ANY MODSQUARD RELATED EVENTS IN THE FURTURE, nobody makes me stand in a queue for almost 2hours and gets my money again..)
anyway.. my cousin fucked out on a pill and was gonna be taken to hospital and the policechick helping take details and asking questions was *DIALLED* I swear... in a friggin uniform and everything...
...as well as another "keeping the peace/wander around and observe cop" walking around having friendly convo's with fuckloads of ravers who was OBVIOUSLY spannered on SOME sort of substance..
How much do you think D's would know that you are expecting themto not have eyes hanging out of their heads...

As stated before - cops can anwer any way they want - no defence. They can tell you lies, incriminate themselves, etc - you have no defence if you sell.
Safest bet - tell people to fuck off. I hate going up to someone at a club to have a chat and before you even get "hello" in, the old "got any pills mate?" line. I say, "well at least you're straight to business... but no."
Don't people figure if you waste two minutes of your time with them, then they are more likely to sell to you?
Cops may confiscate and keep - but they will nick you. You may have had 12 pills on you, but they only report 3 when u get your call from the cop hop - you're a dick if you complain and up your charge - so you just accept it and let the cops take your pills.
Don't worry - the pills they confiscate go to their buddies to sell within the rave, making a little retirement money, so they do get eaten

Honestly guys, the cops KNOW what goes on at dance parties. But they also know everyone is pilled, having a good time and causing no trouble. They are looking for DEALERS, not jo-bloggs who is fucked off his tits dancing and telling everyone he loves them.

At Eckythump, whilst peaking (and I mean peakin') picked out a bloke who had to be a cop. He just had to be. We made him take a photo of us and exaggerated the whole chewing, bug eyes, hugging, staring thing.

The "don't trust someone just 'cos they look dialed" argument is interesting, seeing that it's possible to dilate the pupils without being trashed, ok.. but perhaps there's an alternative way to check the 'cop-status' of someone suspicious. It wouldn't really be that hard to offer the person in question a line of [insert whatever here], half a pill/trip, a toke on a joint etc .. from my understanding, if an undercover uses any illegal drug they're kinda screwed. Is this true, or am I just misinformed? If it is, I'd start getting a little suss when guy-in-question knocks back 4-5 offers of free drugs..?

Has anyone ever considered the possibility that cops read bluelight not bust us but to learn how to fit in? For example I haven't had a pill for about 5 months now, but I can still carry on a conversation with someone about which ones are good, which ones are speedy, etc. I get this information from bluelight.
They can take the information from here and arm themselves with enough knowledge to convince some dealer that they are OK to deal to...

paranoid or not, cops can still monitor bluelight(or any other drug forum) to obtain information on the usage of drugs, which in turn potentially results in information on user resources, hence inevitably to information on dealership. it probably doesnt take much for them to get the big picture on things through the grapevine. will it lead to a bust? i don't know. but a little more information here might just mean a lot closer to them coppers getting their man.
