Undercover Cops in Clubs?

they would, read the media section in sydney the cops sold 7/8kg of coke to a dealer to bust him and they lost almost all of it haha they only recovered 1kg of what they sold to him.

but i dont see why they wouldnt in australia? they do it in ever other country pretty much. (i think i watch too much of that tv show "cops" on tv) in the states how they sell weed and crack. lol its too enterntaining tho

There is no such thing as a crime of "guilt by association." This is a moralistic cliche.

at raves i get asked for pills all the time cause im dressed up as a kandikid. you just kinda know who they are if you've seen em around or ask them who they hang with.

cops are really cocky about wat they do.... quite simply put.. and don't socialize at raves/clubs unless its for a bust so since the guy your speaking of was alone its creepy...but im sure if they wanted to bust you they'd send in a younger guy to "get dealers" .. but still its something you just pick up on.

if not, just chill and say "i dont know"
 
Next time it happens, say yea, "I have about 50 in my pocket, you wanting to buy a few?" If they arrest you then they are 'undercover'. It's always best if you try it while you have no drugs on your person however!
 
Another way to tell them is they walk around with a drink, and they only drink like a sip of it the whole night.
 
How about following the rule at the club that if ANYONE you do not know askes you for drugs, you look them in the eyes like they are crazy and tell them you have no clue what they are talking about! No questions no small talk no nothing... Do not put yourself in that situation. Even if you have extras (For your personal use of course) and could part with a few. If you do not know them then do not sell to them. Even if they are a friend of a friend twice removed... You have the friend come to you and "borrow" some.

Here in Atlanta I see people get asked often. I have had a person walk up to me and say, "Matt told me you might know where I could score some stuff..." Well first of all, I know MANY Matts and none of them are hear tonight (Most likely trying to get lucky that there could be a Matt with me that night.) Second of all, Matt would have come and introduced you to me or gotten any extra from me himself.

So just be careful out there. I know people who sell pretty openly in the clubs and I think it is pretty stupid. You never see any OLD drug dealers doing that shit. Too risky!
 
My experience in an australian club one night:

It's 3-4am, I've had a couple under my belt by now and would look like i have, I walk to the dancefloor to have a look for a friend, I stop on the edge so i can gaze over the crowd, next to me i eye a gentlemen, he's over 6 foot of athletic build and sipping on a beer. He looks completlley sober, he looks at me then walks over to talk to me.

Him: hey, how's your night going?
Me: Yeah really good thx
Him: So this is DJ ...... playing now?
Me: errr no this is DJ......... (who was the headliner and who everybody was here to see)
Him: oh ok, you wouldn't know where i could get any (slang) would ya?
Me: *eyes him up and down* People don't do that sort of thing at this club mate
Him: *just looks at me then storms off in a huff*


I couldn't help but laugh really loud

I'm far too sympathetic of the situation to stomp on someone like that. It takes a lot of nerve to just ask a stranger cold for pills. I've been there too many times myself.

I just say I'm sorry, I don't have anything. I try to not make them feel uncomfortable, it's hard enough as it is to find something when you don't know anybody.
 
I think people are REALLY stupid when they think they can point out undercover cops. Usually a person who seems suss is just different and inexperienced in the scene. Hell I remember when I first went to a rave and didn't have any pills and had to buy mine there. I would walk up to people and ask 'Have you got any ecstasy pills?' Hahaha, they gave me the weirdest looks and all of them immediately said 'No'.

Undercover cops aren't stupid, they are trained to fit in and when you look at a rave scene it's very easy to do just that.
 
i was sittin in a club one night and a guy about 35ish came up and sat next to me

guy: hey mate hows it goin?
me: yeah good thanx
guy: so can ya help me out with ne pills mate?
me: nah i doubt it mate?
guy: oh if ya could it would be really good, ive already had two wouldn't mind a 3rd. (guy looked straight as a pole)
me: mate i dont really know ya why would i help ya out?
guy: oh mate i just really need another pill
me: ill see (sent a msg to my mates near by tellin em i thought the guy was dodgey) yeah mate i just sent a msg ill let ya know
guy: that'd be good its nearly the end of the night so if ya could hurry that'd be great

the guy returns about 30 seconds late

guy: so howd did ya go?
me: nah mate no luck sorry
guy: storms of in a big hurry

this was the only time ive had someone dodgey come up to me. was a bit of an eye opener though i know to be more careful when people come up to me. I scope them out alot more even though ive hardly ever got spares. Peace out
 
Honestly, cops wouldnt bother busting a guy whose just selling a spair pill or two. Think about it, theres usually dealers in clubs/raves who are passing over 100pills that night.

I was approached once last weekend, i said no (didnt have a spair) but my mate said his mate had a spair but was only letting it go for minimum $45. guy simply said no (got pissed off actually) then walked away. I think, if you wanna get rid of a spair, and are pretty paraniod, this is a good way to go about it. If a cop really did wanna bust everyone with a pill they would probly say they'd pay $100 for a pill just so the person does produce.

Also last weekend, i was sober, and as undercovers are trained to spot, and are sober too they should have no trouble. while i was sitting around talking waiting to come up i noticed about 10 different deals going on with money and drugs changing hands visably each time. Maybe i should be a UC :p
 
lol, not that im old, but i had to start off somewhere (i had no fking clue where to get it at my regular club) and probably weirded out a lot of people askin if they could get some rolls. thank god i know who to talk to now :).

jesus, its 500x easier to cop dope than e lol ;x.

This is absolutely not true. There would be no point to having undercovers if it were. Don't allow this myth to give you a false sense of security.
 
^^ exactly, had a fried get busted for this exact same thing and tried to use the whole entrapment thing with a good lawyer too, the court didn't agree...

I agree on one hand, however they could be out to bust a few people, put the hard word on them while they're off their head and try and get them to spill some beans about their sources.

That's mere speculation but in a small place like Tassie where I live it could be quite feasible.
