Undercover Cops in Clubs?

Damn I am also in PA.

I have crashed a car into someone's front lawn while drunk so the cops didn't have much of an option but to charge me.

I hear ya.
 
nah dude, pa is a street, i was tryin to write it so no one would know what i was talkin bout unless they lived there too

but yea, in the US we cant get away with shit. the euros have it worse for dui though, they lose their license for life i think.

Maybe in your state its lax, but here in TX it is very strict- zero tolerance. And the police set up sobriety checkpoints on the weekends.

1st offence- min 72hrs jail (6 days jail if open container in the car), $2000 fine, plus you pay $1000 per year for the next 3 years to keep your license.

2nd offence- same as above, except the yearly payment goes up to $1500 or $2000 per year (depending on the blood alcohol level)

3rd offence is a felony- 2 to 10 years prison.
 
yea, its not lax where im from, its worse then there i think, actually. and weve always had checkpoints too

across the pond they have a stricter view on the whole thing though, and their penalties are worse, or so i am told.

and anyways, i did say we CANT get away with shit, so its not like im sayin its a cake walk or w/e.

An UC's job (and life) depends on his ability to play a part so perfectly that no one has any idea what he is or even bothers to notice him. I have to agree with you on that the few times Ive had ppl approach me and try to sell me stuff they stood out like a sore thumb, but not one of them was a narc (or as far as I can tell) . Not to mention they sold me some good pills too I couldnt believe it I was like 8o the next day.

But I never risk it anymore cos Ive got a good regular source, and always buy them a couple of days before hand to make sure Ive defferently got the goods for the night.
 
I'm not a 100% but I think in the UK undercovercops arent alloud to ask or sell in placese like clubs as its entrapment.

Thats what sucks so much about the US... Do you want some pills, yes pls, Cool your arrested.

I have no idea how things work in Aus but it would be wearth checking it out.
 
the best thing about living in my city is that because it's so small, it doesn't take long to work out who's a dealer and who's a narc.
the only problem is it doesn't take the narcs long to work out who's dealing :(
although, there doesn't seem to be many busts here, most of the dealers i know from 3-4 years ago are still selling in clubs today.
the few who were busted only got caught because they were dobbed in by some loser trying to cut a deal with the cops.

Man, I go to the Avalon all the time and I guess I should be more carefull. I dont BYO many times so I try to score and I have never have. I am in my early thirties and people probably mistake me for a UC, as a matter of fact I know they do. I have seen obvious dealers not deal when im around and point to me when others hit them up for some pills. Kind of funny actually......but whenever I go to the Vanguaurd, also in LA, I get hit up all the time. I guess its just different from night to night.
 
I totally saw a cop wandering around a party I was this past weekend. He stuck out so badly I don't even know why he was there. He just walked around and would peer into the groups of people sitting around. I was rolling a blunt behind my friend and almost spilled all my weed trying to cover it up when he walked towards us.
 
That's an undercover for sure. I have had an incident with an undercover before when I was out in town trying to get pills the last minute. He was pretending to hang with the bikie crew and showed me his badge and not to come back in the area to get drugs. He was wanting me to hand over the cash before he could get them, I laughed and said nahh I will wait here for you. If I handed over the money it would have probably been a different story.
 
I think there is paranoi involed in some of your believes that a person is a narc(especially if you are high), but again it depends on where you are. I think I would be very paranoid picking up from a club if I lived in some states.
 
i went to bonnaroo last year`and pretty sure i saw some undercovers

this summer im quitting my job and going festival hopping and camping in between with some friends, and i'd hate being hassled by some fucking undercover narc

If your getting asked questions like that, you have every reason to be paranoid.
 
^ Well you have to exercise caution at times but I was talking more in terms of people who stay up for a long time rolling and think everybody is a cop; you know who you are;)
 
Just the other day I was musing about what I will do should I want any drugs when I get older.
 
ya ive been reading a few of the replys to this thread like how to spot an undercover and idk it might jsut be in Good Old California but if someone you dont know come and asks you for pills their probebly undercover cause its almost impossible not to get pills cuase half the ppl here think their dealers so they sell to their firneds and the other real dealers already have the other half of the users so theirs really no sort in supply or somone you know to get them form:)
