Underage drinking

underaged drinking... well im doing a bit of that right now. i just steal dear mummy and daddy's. it's so funny cause they'll let us taste thiers and make sure we know the differance between cheap wine and good stuff. of course they never expect they're sweet darling daughter to drink it when they arent home.

first drink at...i think 15, nothign too much, same as I do now. I can get alcohol with effort, but it's actully much harder for me to get a bottle of vodka than it is for me to get a bag of weed or a gram of coke or whatever i'm looking for.

I think drinking age should be 18ish.

I didn't really start drinking until college, as pot was alot less of a hassle to get in high school. First year of college, my room mate had a fake ID. Next year, all three of my room mates are 21, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue ;)

IMHO, the drinking age should be 19. That'd make it so high school kids would still have a hard time getting it, but it would eliminate all the problems the drinking age of 21 causes for college students.

Here, in the UK, the legal age is 18. I didnt start drinking until i was 17. As well as the fact that i didnt have a lot of friends, nor did i have much money, i wasnt really interested in drinking.

Now i would, but still dont think its the best thing in the world.

um im 13 and today my parents were gone all day till 5 so i helped myself to there booze and ended up barfing my guts out and falling asleep on my bathroom floor.

i just learned a nice little lesson and i dont think i'll be participating in any underaged drinking for a little while. i dont think booze is gonna be my thing. im a dumbass

peace.

Awww how cute. Good job you leant when you did and how you did - in the safety of your own home.

I'm from ireland and started properly drinking when i was 13, i had tried it first when i was around 11/12 but never drunk till 13. I'll always remember it too, 6 liters of old english cider between me and a couple of friends :D good old times.

I started drinking when I was 15 at parties occasionally. Heck, my first time I drank over half a bottle of Jose Cuervo. Didn't really drink that often though.
Then I moved to Singapore right before I turned 16 and began my decent into alcoholism, because we would party it up almost everyday at the clubs, bars, or the hawkers.

17 here.... easiest thing to get is alcohol right after weed, all the ppl I'm around can buy it mad easily (from beer to hard liquor to getting drinks served to our table at restaurants). Lately I've been drinking beer/malt liquor everyday... its really nice to drink after work. Now I can see why people buy beer, never really saw it before. But it makes you feel nice if you chug enough of it, like right now im on 60 oz. of Miller Genuine Draft and feeling nice.... thinking legal drinking age should be 18, if any at all.

Just last night I reconfirmed my belief that alcohol is horrible :p Got drunk for my second time and I think I'll stick with something that doesn't make me dizzy, confused, stumbling, and throwing up! I threw up probably 11 times :/ Not fun, and IMO Alcohol tastes worse then anything else I have tasted (including robotussien)

Easiest way to drink it with minimum taste:
Put a little diet coke in mouth
Put gulp of alcohol in mouth
Chase it down with more diet coke

I have found this way, way better then mixing it. Whenever I talk about alcohol in kind of gives me a gag reflex :( I hate you alcohol :p

It's funny going to freshmen/sophmore parties and seeing those kids get mad drunk and then throwing up and passing out. Those kids just drink everything at the party and end up with alcohol poisoning. I ussually bring a bottle of vodka and drink that and only that.

Thank god I grew up in Canada! 18 in Quebec. 19 all other provinces. Not much into alcohol as an adult. Drank because it was legal and socially acceptable. Prefer sobriety to it. Now if Canada legalizes non-medicinal marijuana use...I think I may move back home.

I tasted my first sip of alchohol when I was 8, it was wayy gross! but i didnt start actually drinking until I was about 16...now I'm 19 and still drinkin, it still tasts gross but drunkeness is fun! so um yeah.hehe

I don't drink often but when I do we either get it free or my mom buys it for me. Last night we stole a bottle of watermellon flavored vodka, drove around, came back and made a fire and got wasted and stoned and watched yellow submarine.

I started drinking at maybe 12. But I was never really into it (more of a stoner) until half way through being 14. Since then I have binge drank nearly every weekend plus more on school holidays, and probably once a week during weeknights too. But I have been cutting down a LOT lately, barely even drink anymore, which I think is a good thing, considering how taxing it is on the body and senses. I'm 17 now.

i started drinking on occasion as a kid, as my dad made me drink to the bottom of his martini when i wanted to eat the olive. we also got to drink sometimes on family camping trips.

once i was 14 or 15 my friends and i began drinking recreationally. we would each steal some liquor or beers from our parents, save it up for a while, then put everything together and party. we also loitered around liquor stores hitting people up to buy us beer. we got rejected a lot and flat-out burned by someone just taking our money one time, but you learn who to ask and who to not bother with.

quite a few homeless people in the area had bought our beer at some point. as long as you throw in a couple dollars for their trouble, bums are usually pretty cool about buying alcohol for you.

in response to the peripheral issue in this thread, i agree that the drinking age in america should be lowered to 18. you're legally an adult at 18, can vote, can join the military, etc. but you can't buy a simple beer. however, i also think the driving age should be raised to 18.

I'm from an Israeli family, and when i was 13, my parents pretty much said to me, 'your a man now, if you ever want to get alcohol we can get it for you.' I think this approach works very well, because although i'll have a couple of drinks at many social occasions, i've only gotten drunk to the point of stumbling and puking a few times since then, and i'm 17
