White clouds up above
fill the sky to its edges.
Over which I wish to see.

Wanting
Searching for a place
Where there is only me.

Sun-hot rocks will warm my feet
On beaches mute (but for the sea)

Water trickles down slowly
as my thoughts
running together and forming pools.

Time rolls on down the shallowest of inclines
and I sit content in thought
as life drowsily buzzes around me

In that place beyond the clouds
Under a brand new sky

there's humor in that somehow. wonderfully worded. :)

I've read this a couple of times and think it gets even better upon re-reading. I think you have an artistic eye and a beautiful way with words. For some reason this part;

was my favourite. Elegantly written.

Beautiful... this reminds me of my favourite place - sitting on a rock up the end of the beach I grew up on. You've captured the peaceful feeling so eloquently.
