Anyone who has suffered from these... are they constant... or do they come on at certain times? like maybe sometimes in the morning some days at night? or is it like a timed thing where its every hour you get a twitch... I ask because I have been experiencing these and I take some medication that has side effects that list all of these and I have them..... Wondering if its the medication so anyone who has had this happened to them please tell me how it works for you so I can compare.

Uncontrollable twitching/tremor is not normal except if your body is subjected to undue stress (low blood glucose, caffine intake, sleep deprivation).
If you are on antipsychotic or antidopaminergic medication, or other meds that list twitching/tremor as side effects you should see your doctor ASAP.

Some medications can induce twitching permanently if overused and some medications induce twitching as a symptom their dose is too high (e.g. tramadol, bupropion) before seizures set in.

You have to say what the medication is. Jerks that range from something like 'restless leg syndrome' twinges to the big, whole body kind are a common withdrawal effect of narcotics, for example, and can happen even when you aren't feeling any of the others yet. If you're having convulsions or seizures that's a medical emergency, but the heebie-jeebies are part of the dope game even if you're on mild stuff for a relatively short time.

Abilify (which at such a low dose 2mg I would not think it could) and gabapentin 600mg which I don't think can cause that (in fact it should help that)

Well I can't think of any other answer to the random jerking movements and such unless someone else can think of something beside that I tame suboxone and I also take tamazapam for sleep but again at such low doses I wouldn't think that would be it.

Its been going on for some time, I did see a doctor and they put me on the gabapentin to counter it but its not getting better... it comes with a feeling of electricity in case you read any of my other posts...

Its either that or someone is :P eletricuting me..... (paranoia) but hey maybe they are!!

It would be really helpful to know what medications your on, but before that, go see a doctor.

Certain medications like others have said can induce these side effects, and if they are mixed with other drugs, they can increase the symptoms or cause seizures, for instance, taking tramadol and bupropion, mixing alchohol and tramadol etc..

No, seizures/tremors/twitching/etc definitely do not have to be constant or at precise intervals. It can happen any time of the day or night. If you are having these symptoms please see your doctor immediately.

thank you I am going to see a doctor about all this again, I also get flashing white lights when my eyes are closed when it happens, my heart feels weird.... its kinda freaky.... dunno ... I keep telling my self its nothing or its going go away but its not..... and doctor prescribed meds for it but didn't help... soo.. at a loss

Hmm a few thoughts; firstly, regardless of what you're told, if you really do believe there is an issue there, fight/kick/scream do whatever it takes to receive care (not saying you aren't now or anything but) in the end, it is YOUR health and you know your body.

For instance, after multiple attempts at medicating, if you feel you may receive better treatment (say with someone specialised), don't hesitate and be made (directly or indirectly) to feel like it's 'all in your head'.

Secondly, take any suggested meds on here, not worth the bits they encode. Without knowing the entire situation, I see any such suggestions at a minim reckless! -_-

Specifically re symptoms, what you've describe are really (what's called) "non-specific symptoms". Said symptoms alone are really enough to make a diagnosis since many pathologies present like this. Hence really, even with you posting what meds you're on, etc, detailed, methodical series of test would (personal) be one of my first actions - general bloods, test for known disease markers, etc - along with a physical. A complete review of medical/health history. All of which no one here can do and....

.....way before even any (competent) doctor should really even suggest possible dx.

i got what you are talking of when i first started on anti psycotic meds and ii also got this things cant mind what its called that meant i just could not relax at all and felt like i allways had to be doing sumthing and moving my legs my psyc gave me a name for it but cant recall this iis what lead me to just put up with my minor mental condition which hhas never been diagnosed as anything seriiouse. when i stoped taking the risperadone the twitches got more often and much stronger it fealt like being smacked in the head sumtime and others like being hiit it the cheast with a tasor. i got very very VERY worried that i had contarcted sum seriouse dibiilitating condiition and was severlay depressed about it but thank god it went away after a few weeks annd i am never touching those meds that i have been tokd i shud never of been on in the first place again!! when they were happining tho etizolam worked n the shoort term
