As a european male in the USA I tend to be a bit self conscious about this. Most men here are circumcised, so I feel out of the norm.

Girls, how do you feel about this? What do you prefer? No nasty here everything nice and clean. Good size too ;).
 
Is this going to turn into a circumcision debate? It is, isn't it? Think I'll duck out of here before this one turns ugly...
 
It's tough because everybody is different obviously. You can always throw this around when you are dating somebody, see how she responds to it. But, to be honest, it all depends on how it looks you know. Some people look good with hats, others just don't. Pic can help.
 
When I lived in Houston ( Texas ) and I was there half my life woman would bitch saying a uncircumcised penis was gross. -.-
I am french ( female here ) and lived in the U.S for ever and now back in europe so I had my share of many circumsised dick and uncircumsised dick.
I honestly don't give a shit. A penis is a penis so I don't care. And so many girls in the U.S haven't been with a man who was uncircumsised ( because it is so common down there so yeah ) so they judge it... Most girls I know who hadn't had a man like that then ended up with one ended up not caring once it happened. Because like I said a penis is a penis. Don't be shy about it...

so yes its the norm there and in most countrys its below 20 percent.

Don't worry too much about it. If a female sees your penis and is sad/disappointed/etc. (whatever you're thinking), then she has a problem.
I didn't realize the being circumcised/uncircumcised was a big deal actually.
 
There is a HUUUUGE debate about this is CE&P....the ideas seem to be here that circumcision prevents the spread of veneral disease and promotes hygiene....and the numbers do show that, although only by like a 5% difference or something, within the normal range of data error at any rate. All I can say is im not circumcised, have lived in the US my whole life, and have never had any complaints or problems. As long as you are normally a clean person (shower, etc) you really dont need to worry about anything else.
 
uncircumcised = more sensitivity.
if it's a big problem for you, cut your foreskin off!

personally, i'm really glad to be intact. if a chick didn't dig it, she wouldn't be worth it. your penis is in its 'natural' state...what could be wrong with that?!
 
elephant trunk lol i hear kids these days, say in the last decade, are not commonly circumcised anymore so really it's only an issue for males in NA who were born before 2000.

the only problem with being uncircumcised is if you go camping for like a week and end up with smelly wiener. I'm glad I got circumcised i prefer the appearance, although sometimes when i'm just walking around my pants rub up against my PP and i get unintentional public boners.

First there'd have to be no water around. People can't go a week without water, so no, you won't get a smelly dick.

No. Nothing more is required, you can just splash some water over your dick and that'd be enough.
It's pretty much like your belly button (assuming you have an innie) in that it can't breathe. Now just because your belly button will smell worse than the rest of your belly if you don't wash-
Now, let's not forget you could just put a peg on your dick and hold the skin back, or put a rubber band on so the skin can't go back over. There are means of not having your foreskin cover your knob without cutting it off, for whatever reason you might want that.
In this culture and age hygiene is up to the person and unaffected by foreskin. In some third world country where dirt/sand blows on your dick when you piss and stays there for weeks it's a little different.
I don't care though. I've got all of my dick and I'm happy with that, so fuck the whole discussion.
 
Has anyone ever turned their nose up at an uncircumcised dick? Big sticky out ears are natural too, doesn't make them look any less ridiculous

I find the only ones who defend their foreskin like someone else cares are usually the uncircumcised. I circumcised my son for a number of reasons, one of which because it looks better than having a chewed up piece of gum stick to the end of it.
 
Ears are genetic. You don't like the look of the ear, cool. Your penis is genetic. They all come with foreskin, just as everyone has ears.
Good for you and good for your son if you're cool with it, but I think it's absurd. I've seen some mangly-arse circumcised cocks. I've seen some great looking cocks, but most are not. Foreskin or no foreskin, your cock is just like your ear and the size/shape/etc are unchangeable. If don't have to be a stingy cunt you can always take a trip to the plastic surgeon and really treat your dick well. I mean hey, bring the whole family, we could cut off some of the labia minora's too, if you don't like the look.. I'm not telling you what to do here, I'm just throwing out some ideas :)
 
It seems like something that is so simple to do in modern medicine, why wouldnt you have your kids circumsized?

theres really no downside to having it done
 
theres plenty of downsides.

1) any surgery is by definitions dangerous. one little slip and *pop* no more penis. granted this doesnt happen often, but it happens. more possible is hitting a vein in the shaft and causing excessive bleeding.

2) loss of stimulation. there are plenty plenty nerves in the foreskin, so cutting in cutting it off, you lose those. Circumcision gained popularity in the early 1900s in America because it was seen as a way to keep boys from masturbating...prior to this, only jews and people with unusual birth defects were circumcised.

3) the foreskin is there for a reason...its not just THERE. it protects the head of the penis from drying out, being too cold, too hot, or irritation from rubbing against stuff (pants, say). it has a purpose, so why remove it? to use the ear example, they are funny shaped and stick out, but they are also well designed to do their function, which is collect and amplify sounds.

A better question is since there is no real medical reason to do it, why would you?

not to criticize parents who do it. obviously there are religious reasons, and if you are like BStC, aesthetic reasons. personally i dont feel that a parent has the right to do that to a child, but thats me. I dont like abortion either, but until there is a reason to ban either, i wont vote for it.

i guess what im trying to say is, if you are going to circumcise your child, at least be honest about why you are doing it, and do it for reasons that are, to you at least, right.
