Uncertain about Hydrocodone capsules

A friend of mine has heard about some Hydrocodone capsules that ALSO contain "Cyclizine hydrochloride 25mg". All he wants to know is why do they contain the Cyclizine ?

Most likely they're from a compounding pharmacy, not sure what cyclizine is but pills from compounding pharmacies are custom made for a patients specific need. For example if someone is allergic to a filler commonly found in opiates they will be referred to a compounding pharmacy and have their drugs custom mixed without the filler/binder that was giving them problems.

These are very rare and most of the time pretty expensive, you'd have to ask the person that originally got the script.

Edit: just looked up cyclizine, it's an antihistamine so it's probably in there to potentiate the hydro OR to reduce any allergy issues the person may have. If you like opiates buy a lot and sit on them, in my 5 years of opiate addiction I've only came across opiates from compounding pharmacies once (20mg hydro no apap). You have no idea how lucky you are. What mg hydro are they?

Cyclizine is an anti-emetic (helps with nausea) and an antihistamine, so will help with both the nausea and itch that opioids like hydrocodone can cause.
