Huh? Yeah, I mean, I guess the paramedics could help to, I don't know, pull my severely mangled, bloodied up body from out of the car and pick my teeth and bits of mouth-material from off of the Jersey barrier, but I'd like to avoid the accident in the first place... hence why I recommended having a friend drive you around for a couple of days.
 
^I'm pretty sure he was saying that an ambulance would have taken you from your house, not from your wrecked car...

Then I must not have been clear in my first post. Rereading it now, I don't think I was very clear. Sorry about that...

What I mean to say is that if you know you're going to cold turkey from benzos, then have someone drive you to the places you need to be for those next couple of days. An ambulance won't take you to school, to work, to the grocery store, etc.
 
^ who goes to work/school or the grocery store while cold turkeying benzos? lol my muscles seize up so bad and my anxiety makes me disassociate; basically I can't move or function. I get your point though lol, i'm in mild withdrawal now and still can't move without tons of pain and i'm almost done a month and a half long taper.

just to clarify a post above, any dr. with any sense will prescribe you valium (or the benzo you are using if they are nice) if you are withdrawing from any benzo. The Dr. will most likely want to taper you but they won't leave you to suffer the massive withdrawals and possibly have a seizure.

My advice is to never quit benzos cold turkey; don't put your body/mind through it as it can be traumatic and horrific. Just see a Dr. if possible and make a plan to taper or go to ER, or get benzos any way you can and taper yourself.
