I've heard this is a dangerous combo. I took 150mg of ultram 24 hours ago ( shit is crap anyway) I wanted today to use one kratom extract today. Is that safe?

Safety before buzzing. 😆 ty bl

These guys say it's great with tianeptine:

But taken together, the effect becomes a whole brand new one.

So far I've usually taken the tianeptine sulfate shortly before taking the kratom. I'd cut back just a little on my kratom dose. What ensues is a strong opioid body buzz, very strong, that neither substance alone gives. Interestingly enough, it also prevents me from sleeping. The first time I laid very comfortably in bed, enjoying the intense euphoria and strong body buzz, but for whatever reason could not fall asleep like usual. But I laid there, very still, in a state of bliss. Loved that body feeling.

I find this combination especially effective when used for opioid withdrawal.

"I've had kratom in my system with a variety of drugs/serotonergic drugs many times over the years, as well as harmala alkaloids, and I haven't noticed any signs of serotonin toxicity or any sort of interaction."

"I always take kratom with every drug it makes it better stg, I take it with Ayahuasca and it completely gets rid of the cold shaking. It's not really even a stimulant in neurotransmitter terms."

I recently gobbled up a bunch of cheap kratom capsules to calm down after consuming low dose DMT with Parnate. It worked a charm.

If I take even 100-200mg with 7oh or kratom, I break out into hot then cold sweats like you wouldn't believe. It goes away relatively quickly, though I thought I've given myself serotonin syndrome 3 times because I'm prescribed tramadol. Not something I would advise. Especially 7oh.

If I took tram 30 hours ago, you think I can do an extract tomorrow?

I hate tram

Yeah - people forget that tramadol is a not a classic opioid. One enantiomer IS an opioid, the other monkeys around with monoamines.

Assering safety based on a couple of reports is a really stupid idea. Because their is something we term 'surviorship bias' which is to presuming that if other say a combination is safe... it is. More generally it just refer to the fact that people are far less likely to report negative outcomes but in this case could mean exactly what it says.

Dead people don't tend to report on that particularly negative outcome - this is where forensic journals come to the fore.

Absolutely. I think tramadol is a lot more dangerous in combination with other substances than anyone has EVER given it credit for, especially in relationship to the serotonin it works on. There are actually a lot of pretty alarming studies residing around it. 7oh is just one more, very large-piece of the puzzle. I think 7oh can be pretty FUCKING dangerous considering what I've experienced, not only with tramadol hydrochloride, but also with other substances, and perhaps even on its own, that I've used. It get wacky particularly in high doses. I think it works hard on serotonin, personally.

Well Tramadol got it's GSL as 'Tramal' all the way back in 1974 but it's so synthetically simple to make, when the patent potection ended, LOTS of nations suddenly saw it as a much cheaper than, say codeine or dihydrocodeine.

I remember it arriving in the UK, I watched the death toll go through the roof then then I saw doctors deciding that simple Co-Codamol and Co-dyrdramol might contain paracetamol - but that would limit abuse potential unless the user is prepared to play russian roulette with their livers,

Never quite worked out why hydrocodone never got introduced to the UK. My GUESS is that the BMC would designate ALL formulations as CDs and besides, dihydrocodeine does more or less the same job.

I take tramadol for chronic pain and I have to admit there’s definitely times I’ve taken both within 24 hours. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve never taken them at the same time or anything. But there’s been times I ran out of my tramadol script, had to pick it up in the morning and definitely took Kratom throughout the night until I picked up my script at 8:00am and then took a tramadol. Whew sorry that was a run on sentence and a half lol.

I know what you guys are saying though for sure about tramadol and how it’s different than traditional opi’s with the SNRI effects and all. Hell, back in the day one of my friends got serotonin syndrome from taking tramadol. She went to the hospital for an injury and the doctor wasn’t paying attention to the fact that she was on a lot antidepressants and gave her tramadol.

I’ve always been (a little’sh) nervous that if I’m taking the Kratom and tramadol too close together sometimes to cover pain (I’ve read stuff about possible seizures). However, I’m also prescribed clonazepam which helps me with not having worries about having a seizure, especially high pain days when I have to take extra tramadol.

I’m just giving my experience here like we do here sometimes, obviously I’m not a doctor lol

Edit: Even though some doctors have honestly scared the shit out of me before with their lack of knowledge on certain medications.
