Opioids Ultra-strong heroin shot - xanax responsible?

Hey sorry if this belongs in basic questions, feel free to move around if needed.

Last night I took a shot of dope which is no bigger than ones I've done in the past, an amount that usually gives me a small rush and a good high. Now this dope appeared to be the same stuff I've been getting n all too...and the only difference in my body chemistry was that morning I took 2mg of xanax, each milligram spread out by an hour or two. When I took the shot I didn't feel inebriated at all though. But the rush was completely debilitating, like I almost threw up in the damn car haha. I was then higher than I recall ever being besides this one time when I nearly ODd. My buddy experienced the same thing from a little less dope and only .5mg of xanax earlier in the day.

So does xanax cause this kind of reaction when taken before some dope? Or is it more likely that I have a more potent product on my hands? Because whenever I've taken xanax after an opiate it's nice, but not that significant.

It's very possible that the dope you got is just stronger than what you normally get. Whenever i took xanax before taking a hit i never experienced anything like that. As always though, be very careful when mixing xanax with heroin. It's a very dangerous combination. I'd suggest taking smaller hits of heroin when your taking xanax to be safe. It's impossible to tell the potency of the heroin your getting so it's a good idea to sometimes to a test shot, that is smaller than what you normally do to be safe. Street heroin could be laced with fentanyl which makes it a huge amount stronger. I know people who have OD'd because of this. Fentanyl laced dope was pretty common around here for a little while and it's possible that you may come across it yourself.

^ This. And this is exactly the reason why dope can be so dangerous, especially when the ROA is IV.

I know that you IV users look down upon us lowly insufflators lol but I can tell you that, in my experience, I have come across bags with identical-looking powder, the very same stamp, same everything, and one bag will for whatever reason be a monster compared to the other.

That being said, whenever I plan to dose my heroin and xanax together, I'm always careful to do a bit less of both substances.

Yeah I'm very aware of potency fluctuation and fent cuts but I exclusively pick up from one source and the shit looked identical. Which of course I know from my RC hobby means absolutely nothing sometimes haha. Hmm. I just figured xanax could just make the high stronger, but that rush was almost uncomfortable haha. I just took 1mg of xan and insuffulated half of my last nights IV dose and I'm higher than that amount insuffulated should get me. I'm thinking this may be a combo of my two theories.

My buddy that I did this with yesterday actually got so fucked up that he was behaving like nothing I've ever seen from dope lol, got my kicked out of his house by his parents. Told that nigga not to go talk to them- retard 8)

That coincides with my experience tonite: 1.5 mg Xanax 30 minutes prior blunted the rush a little but increased the nod. Benzos are better enjoyed after the rush IMO (in small amounts).

I've done heroin almost ten hours after a dose of Xanax, and had more of a significant high than usual. Don't let the passed time between the two fool you. Safer to start out slow, then to worry and regret when it's too late and you scarfed your goods down all at once!

This. I was always a user of pharmaceutical opiates and even a small amount of benzos kicking around would make the exact same dose of opiates much stronger. I personally didn't enjoy the added effect though; if I was doing opiates, I wanted to feel opiate bliss, not just sedated and really intoxicated.
