"Ultimate Scripter" sentenced to 17 years..

Scott Whatever-his-lastname-was has been sentenced to 17 years in a Georgia state prison for "doctor shopping" .. if you forgot, he had about 45 differn't identities and was raking in about $9,000 a month in medicare payments.. he had other people (with legit problems) take X-rays and MRI's in his name .. when his house was raided they found undreds of bottles of C-II goodies... he was seeing an average of 2 doctors a day, all of them giving him everything you can imagine... he was busted because his town only had a few pharmacies.. I guess the pharmacist caught on when he came in every day with multiple scripts under differn't names... guess he just got greedy!
He needs to be in our prayers tonight... praise be Allah!
 
Being busted sucks for sure, but what a dumbass. I guess you just get stupid after taking too many drugs :)

I'm trying to put myself in this guys shoes.
I can't figure out that if it was me.. would I have a pharmaceutical stockpile.. or would I just be on A LOT of drugs?

Dunna.. on the news they showed all his pill bottles spread on a table (as they always do with drug busts) .. probably 500 bottles, they said that everything he had was a "highly abusable narcotic" .. OxyContin, Dilaudid, Vicodin, and Morphine were named - but on the shot you could see half-full bottles of shit like Roxonal, Intensol, etc.. they also had all 46 of his (legit) Georgia state ID's layed out and a huge stack of gubment medicare cards - hell, he was getting $9,000 a month in "disability" so is a $5 co-pay REALLY that big of a problem for a bottle of 60 4mg Dilaudid? Let the state pickup the rest..
When I get his information I will write him regularly in prison (as I do Michael Alig).. I will post it too...
He pulled it off for over 2 years too.. should have just had friends go drop off/pickup the scripts... as though a pharmacist wouldnt notice you come in daily with INSANE C-II scripts under differn't names... but he has inspired me.. more to come ..

hats of to him for pulling it of for that long. DO you reckon he was just gonna keep going, or he was savign up and then gonna stop? Who knows?
 
I have a new hero! He should of traveled to other cities and such for the pharmacies. It's too late now. Make sure to post the letters you two write back and forth! :)
 
If he was doing all that scripting just to support his own habit, the jail food + withdrawl should have him shitting his pants for a good while.
 
I don't remember his last name... down here it was only a short piece on MSNBC news (so it's national) .. they showed a shot of the bottles, id's, etc... and told what he did and what he got sentenced to.... I caught it once hoping to catch it again on the next hour but I have not seen it again... he lived in Athens (I think thats it)..
 
this guy serves as an inspiration.
as for trippin above.. you frequent the od forums, but wanna blame the guy for wanting to get high?
 
hes in for one wild withdrawl ride. yay him. I laughed when I read this, its just hilarious, he was THAT fucking good at conning doctors that the sheer quantity of his scripts were his downfall...ahhh alas...
