A warning to youngsters not to experiment with drugs has been issued after the daughter of a university research fellow died when she swallowed a mystery substance thought to contain amphetamines. Poppy Rodgers had been at a house party with friends in York when she collapsed unconscious late on Thursday evening. The 16-year-old college student is thought to have ingested a quantity of an unknown substance which resembled a yellow, white paste. She was rushed to York District Hospital by ambulance where medical staff attempted to resuscitate her, but she died on Friday morning without regaining consciousness. A 21-year-old man, who is thought to have taken a quantity of the same substance, was also taken to hospital after collapsing. But he was discharged at the weekend after receiving treatment and making a full recovery.

Abstinence from mind altering substances is the way ahead NOT TO LEGALISE THIS JUNK !

WAKE UP.

Stronger punishment and proper crime time needed.

North Yorkshire seems to be controlled by Muslim traffickers...stop the Heroin importation from the religion of peace...this will go a long way to stopping heroin in Britain.

Rec drugs etc and the pushers are a consequence of a broken nation.

Foreigners just of the boat... getting placement for jobs ahead of native British...no wonder kids are turning to pleasure substances.

Protect our own...all countries have protectionist policies but not dizzy old P C Britain

She probably was inexperienced and took too much speed too fast cause she liked it and thought it can't hurt her?

Whatever, same shit happens with someone dying from alcohol people won't be commenting about banning alcohol, just about educating people about the dangers.

It's only that most people, like that guy from the comments (exodus20v4v5), are fucking shallow individuals that won't think too much before saying stupid stuff.
