UK School girl, 14, dies 'after taking dangerous new drug' at house party

people are becoming seriously addicted to this drug in my home town in the uk, mabe its better that i'm stuck on this island for the majority of the time, I CANT BELIEVE THIS HAS ONLY STARTED TO BLOW OFF, the majority of the youth in the small city which i live whilst in the uk have takin it as it seems less dangerous than pills or charlie, every one used to smoke weed but this appears less dangerous and more law abiding to most uneducated youths
 
mephedrone is a terrible drug now there are increasing amounts of deaths and reports and it is incredibly bad for your body, everyone seems to be taking it cause its legal, it seems hard to believe that these children are favouring mephedrone becasue it is cheap and easy whereas for example methylone although maybe double the price is a lot more safer and all in all a better high
 
There are vendors selling it as "meow", and I guess the reduplication makes it sound sinister in a childish kind of way (perfect for Mail readers).
 
So sad, this girl was only 14! Seriously a girl that young shouldn't be fucking around with K and mephedrone... If drugs were regulated a 14 year old might have more trouble getting their hands on these substances.
 
Pay attention to how all these articles 'develop', this is going to be the next crack/meth/oxy 'epidemic', and will be written about in text books in time.

Yep, surely if you tell someone in 20 years that you took mephedrone in the past they will stamp you as a junkie right away.
 
i know i'm preaching to the choir, but if they just legalised mdma mephedrone and related deaths would disappear almost overnight. making comparatively harmless drugs with good effects available is a sure way to make dangerous drugs with mediocre effects obsolete.
it's the same thing with illegalisation of ghb driving people to gbl and 1,4-bd.
