i hear you but please read my thread, especially the end of the fisrt page and the link on the last page that shows dramatic improvements in all levels of functioning and decreased crime, decreased average dose, basically decrease in everything that makes drug prohibition evil. yes i understand exactly what your saying but the swiss model wont work in the uk as the way health is funded is different in the uk in switzerland they have a system were everyone has to have insurance the poorest there get insurance subsidy from government in uk its different a postcode lottery plus for sum bizarre reason the way the nhs sources its diamorphine threw 2 licenced companies in the uk threw freeze dryed ampsoules making it the incredibly most expensive way to get the diamorphine instead of in europe were they use powder then add water its reckoned anywhere between 9000-15000 pounds depending on what you read would be the amount needed per person on hrt which still makes it cheaper than keeping sumone in prison (44,000 pounds) but as the government today has announced that the nhs has to make cost savings of 15 to 20 billion pounds over next 4 years it would be folly to think they would come up with the funding to set up hrt in uk.

even the one clinic run by south maudesley hospital nhs called the special injectables clinic run by dr slang asks the client to contribute £5500 per year towards the cost of his/her treatment

it is a shame the government cant see the cost saving in long run from hrt but the money just aint there in this age of austerity
