CAMPAIGNERS have warned that dangerous legal high khat remains a real problem in parts of Coventry. Nearly 18 months ago the Telegraph revealed how there were growing concerns about the drug khat, which is imported from east Africa. It can be brought over the counter at a number of city cafes despite containing the same dangerous chemical as the banned party drug mephadrone (meow meow). However, community leaders believe they are making headway, particularly when it comes to raising awareness about the dangers.
