A legal high known as Ocean Snow, which has been sold at head shops in Belfast, has been found to contain a Class A controlled drug.

The substance, which has been sold under the guise of plant food, was seized last week by police for analysis. The tests showed several of the Ocean Snow samples contain p-methoxymethylamphetamine, also known as PMMA. Police say the drug can cause "serious harm to human health and can have dangerous psychological side effects".

I wish people getting that stuff out there would realize what they are doing. The most important aspect is of course the damage to lives, the second bit being that they are drawing a lot of negative attention to the drug scene.
 
Fuck these RC vendors who keep putting PMMA into there legal high, if your going to put a Class A drug into your shit, atleast put something like mephedrone into it, PMMA is highly toxic and has killed hundreds
 
Why PMMA? I Mean seriously? even if it costs like 20% as much as all the other bullshit they could put in these legal highs, it's not worth the fucking death and destruction this chemical can bring.

Burning the chemical isn't god enough, i'm saying we find the assholes who keep making this shit & putting it out there. And burn those idiots instead. They deserve it.
 
I would actually rather get charged with possession of PMMA than take it.
 
I changed the title of the thread so as to highlight the PMMA angle; the actual headline has relatively little relevance here
 
I've had alot of PMMA. I know it's being sold as Meph it even looks it. I'm sad and happy to say it's going down the bin/toilet
 
There's a lot to be said for the old time classic drugs.
These research chemicals that come out every month seems that a lot of them are really dangerous compared to good old heroin, speed, acid etc.
 
its a shame we cant name the vendor who make this one , as over the last year its has made the uk news more than a couple of times to do with this chemical sort of need the people in here to blanket ban the site

I wish we could amass all the greedy twats involved in the manufacture of the PMA/PMMA and force feed them their "legal high."

I would then start to take bets on who's gonna convulse first, who's gonna last the longest, and so forth.

The amount of people (most of them young) that these scumbags have killed with their product; not giving two shits about the negative consequences and only thinking about the money - they deserve a slow and painful demise.
 
I was more hoping for an explanation of why its so bad but some info. pertinent to that fact was included in your first source.

It has an MAOI effect, but is also a serotonin releasing drug. This makes it extremely unsafe, and the potential for complications that can (and will) lead to death if untreated is higher than any other drug on the market...

There's a reason why it's killed so many people.
