A friend of mine in the "legal highs" market is thinking about synthesising a large quantity of 4-Flouroamphetamine to sell on the UK market.
When he mentioned it I was surprised, I was under the impression that 4-FA is illegal in the UK.
After some Bluelighting it would appear i'm right, the general consensus is that it's a controlled substance, but why?
"The 1977 mod. order to the MoDA makes any amphetamine ring substituted with a halogen (like fluorine) a class A "
Somebody posted this, and I know it seem specific but I'm not chemist
Can somebody point out the relevant clause in the MoDA? I'd like to show my friend definitive proof.
Thanks chaps.
