Well, down here they have both been readily available. S ketamine is very easy to identify by effects since it is stronger by dose on top of the qualitative differences. I do not know the statistics, but in the past ten years I've always seen both around. I'd say racemic ketamine is even a bit less common, but I obviously can't see the whole picture. That beinf said, I honestly have no clue as to why anyone would prefer s isomer, let alone pass racemic ketamine off as such.
