UK Ketamine Shortage

Was a brief run in, got myself just over a gram and the person had went on a fair drive for it. Was really nice to be back in that headspace and felt very comfortable, but got much better anti-depressant effect (not that I needed it) this time compared to when it was more regular. I have this feeling that it's just a matter of weeks and then things will take off, so even though it's about here I'm leaving it alone for now as it's extortionate prices and I can see those prices being halved in a matter of time.

Quality wise it was alright, it wasn't top class but it wasn't shit, was bang on weight too and I had started to notice people missing a few points . last time around. Just hope people keep their usage sparingly this time as great as it is it's not one to be doing all the time imo. I did get some things aligned in order today though thanks to it that wouldn't have happened without it.
 
Saw some vials of ketamax on a certain dark net site (although currently out of stock) for just under £50 a pop. As much as i really want to try IM ketamine, i dont think even i can justify splashing out £50 for 500mg of wonk. What is the usual going price for vials? Im sure im going to cave in and buy one when it becomes available again, but i would just like to know how much im getting ripped off.

Street-wise, im getting offered gs for £25 (gone down from £30) but im sure it will weigh up a measily 0.7; which is a reet pain when my tolerance means that it would most probably all be gone in a couple hours. Decisions decisions!
 
I can't remember the prices ive seen but id say that £50 price tag is well over twice what it should be.. I've never been interested in vials really so paid little attention but im sure ive seen them for £15-£20......

I think they're taking the fuckin piss
 
No doubt they are taking the piss, but my want for IM ketamine outweighs all sense. First time i had actually seen liquid on there as well, so once its back in stock im gonna bite the bullet & pukka my arsehole!
 
I got some pins and was going to take the Plunge :) with IM. But didnt have access to Liquid at the time. I think even if the liquid is expensive it will be worth it for a proper K hole magical mystery tour on a magic carpet inside your head. I havent K holed of K in years.
 
What pins did you get it you dont mind my asking? I found some 5ml, 21g & 1.5" - does that sound about right for an IM injection?
 
I'm in the SE at the moment and apparently it's back here. I have no inclanation of searching it out though because I know what happens.

edit: 5ml 21g is a fucking beast of a pin. You can do an IM injection but it's going to be a bit sore with a pin that big. Think the biggest I've ever used is a 23 g as they come in the 2ml packs. You can walk in to any pharmacy with the red and green arrow sign and get a more appropriate size pin. Just ask for a pack of 2mls and you'll have to register your initials and age and shit the first time but you will get a more suitable pin. If you ask for a pack of 2mls you will get seperate 2ml bodies and a mix of 23g and 25g pins to go on them. If you ask for a pack of 1mls you will just get a pack of 29g insulin syringes that are one piece unless you're lucky enough to be in an area where they do snap offs. You should be going for the 2mls and using the 25g pins. I used to IM and IV k a lot (predominantly IV once I had started with it) and I stopped being able to fit a dose in the 1mls so I started using the 2mls but I could barely get a vein with a 29g syringe so using s 25g was just a fucking bloodbath.

£30 a g atm down south, full grams though and top quality as per, i hope the price drops down to 20 again soon

They will work. I use 2ml syringes with 26g 1" needles. I've used 21g before, they hurt a little, but with the added length of the needle (depending on your size) you shouldn't need to push them in completely (leave about a third out).

I always read people saying to leave a little out incase the needle snaps you can tweezer it out, I've never snapped a needle - nor do I know how you could, they're pretty strong.

Erowid says K hole IM dose is 0.75mg/lb, for me it is 0.55mg/lb so YMMV. Too little is better than too much.

I would recommend dissolving a single dose per 1ml of liquid and injecting SLOWLY - If it hurts whilst you're pushing the plunger down you're going too fast. It should take around 20-40 seconds for the shot.
 
So should really be looking for a 23g then aye? They have those on the website as well, but i think they were all 2mls. You would only be able to fit 100mg from a vial if using those, right? Sorry, correct me if im being a complete idiot (which i assume i am). Ive got a stupid k tolerance and im not too keen on doing 1 into each leg at the same time.

I know in your post you mentioned about needle length. When IM'ing is there a particular length that is best to go for or does it not really matter?

Its 25 for 0.8 here in kent at the moment. Price is steep and the stuff is alright. Nothing you can hole on though :/

Aah yeah, I only recommended a dose per ml on the assumption that a) you were making your own solution and b) your new to IM (the more Dilute the solution, the more forgiving should you make an error.

Again, comes down to usage but I can comfortably put around 3ml in each thigh (and I'm tiny, 5'7 / 53kg)

Needle length depends on your size, you want to aim to only go in as much as you need too, the further you go the more damage you're doing. Obviously you need to break through the subq layer.

For me 1 inch Is perfect, ymmv. If you're unsure a longer pin would probably be better as you don't have to put it all in, but if it's too short you're stuck with subq.

When you go into the muscle, pull back and check for blood. I performed 100's of shots and never hit blood, so I started skipping this step, and then once I must of hit my blood stream because I could feel it coming far too quick. I don't think it's a pleasant experience.
 
Yeah the ket round my way atm is far from clean, so wouldnt wanna risk IM'ing it - gonna wait till those lovely shards appear again till i make my own solutions. Thanks for all the information, i think that should be about everything i need. Now i just gotta wait for vial to appear on the dark net, or the aforementioned shardy goodness. I cant remember the last time i managed to hole, so will probs go for 250mg IM when i have all the materials.
 
The worst thing about this price hike is that there are no longer any price cuts from the low end dealers (not around this area anyway). Think just before the drought appeared my dealer was getting grams for £7 and this was from spending only £100 and above. Then she would sell on 8ths for £60.

Least the price has gone down from £30 to £25. Can only hope that it continues to lower.
 
It'll likely stay up. It might all be a big conspiracy to bump the price up. The same thing has happened over the past few years with pills and weed. Drought, higher prices because it's hard to get, then permanent higher prices when the supply is back to normal.

More likely just people taking advantage of the situation to increase their profit.
