UK: Ketamine replaces ecstasy as the drug of choice

^^^or maybe he has a high tolerance/was doing IV after IV all night...but even then it would be more like: 5-10 minute high and then back to baseline in 15 minutes

I saw on another table posted in EDD a few days ago that speed in Newcastle is £2 a gram. WTF that's cheap as dirt which leads me to believe it must be dirt cut with speed lol.

If anyone knows otherwise let me know and i'll be down there in a shot!

Actually speed is as cheap as dirt to make. I've heard prices of €3-6 from my neighbour country The Netherlands, and their speed is averaged at 35%! http://www.drugs-test.nl/default14017.html

Offcourse it depends on the middlemen too. Over here a gram costs €10 for an underweight bag( .8 gram or so) while a 25 gram(not under weight) costs like €100-120.

Too bad they didn't write about any medical dangers... oh wait.

They use ketamine sometimes to knock out young children for surgery because normal anaesthetics are too dangerous for them? You mean you can't talk about that?

I imagined they would write some things about Olney's lesions - but good luck to anyone trying to prove that.

It's a natural progression. In five years 80% of 'em will be junkies, mark my words. ;)
Yep

. And who would inject themselves with a whole gram of ketamine anyway?!

I've personally known a few people that have done this..with a pretty damn big tolerance mind you. I've snorted 1.5grams pure over the coarse of 15 minutes myself :)

Funny picture and comments by that bullshit publisher. They "forgot" to mention diazapam was also included, just like the old paper release on MDMA causing holes in the brain was actually not true in the end because they used meth not MDMA. ha.

TYou can spot them on the dance-floor because they're not dancing, they're sitting down in a bit of a vegetative state."

So theyre sitting on the dance floor?!?

how 'LEGAL' is it in the UK ? Can you simply go into the vet and buy some vials ? I don't get it...

It's a prescription medicine covered by the Medicines Act. This makes it legal to possess but illegal to distribute without a licence.
i.e. you can buy it if you are a licensed veterinarian/anaesthesist, but if you are joe raver on his way down to gatecrasher with a set of glowsticks you will generally have to rely on a dealer.

"indeed, seems to be a right wing media push on ketamine"

I love it when peoplpe make biased, blatant comments as cheap shots against a political party they dislike. That's odd, because I really only hear it from left wingers.

Because the left wing media shows glamour stories of illega drugs right? They never post ridiculous articles like this right? Whatever...

Ketamine is pretty lame. That was the worst drug (shit like dramamine aside) I have ever done. Makes you feel dirty, and lasted less than two minutes, being completely baseline within seven. Yes, with a K hole dose, IVd.

I'm a conservative, I meant the right wing media in the UK.
