My mate from essex, east london (Romford) keeps texting to say things have been really good up there for about 6 weeks now! thats doing my head in as its been total shite down here through this drought, i wont send him money as he's always skint and will probs spend it lol...

Still all good here, although I got a mate who lives a couple of streets away from my source who was still struggling until I made a call and got him a bag of decent delivered within 10 minutes!! made his day he couldnt believe there was decent being sold a few streets from his flat! just shows its who you know!!

Hello - first post here. I've been following all this with incredulity for the last month or so. I am a long term user, smoker, of nearly 20 years who is in liverpool. Over the last month I have had calls from other long term users, and between us we probably know everyone there is to know in Liverpool selling decent gear and.... nothing. Our regular supplier turned his phone off about 6 weeks ago saying it would be off until there was something decent and he didnt know when that would be. I've used him for over 10 years with no interruptions. The only gear about is grey, weak and horribly cut with something and believe me, given that its the first time in nearly 15 years Ive relied soley on my script, It takes a lot for me to say "nah... not worth it." I'm not sure what to believe, given that most of the dealers here supply not just us, but out of towners from all over the UK too. Thoughts? Id be interested. x

People have mentioned the Asian connection - maybe that's got something to do with it (correct me if I'm wrong but Liverpool hasn't got the biggest Asian gang contingent), but to be honest I'm as clueless as the UN is on this one, unfortunately.

There's this geezer that I'm going to that came back on today. Anyway, I heard that he's got decent but he shouldn't have. The story goes like this (it could all be bollocks, mind):

He went to get from his man but he wasn't around so he went to his mans friend, who holds stuff for him. Anyway, this bloke was sitting on some stuff that he sold to my man. It turns out that this stuff shouldn't have gone anywahere until a load of other (shit) stuff had been shifted first and this bloke who sits on it got a bit confused as to what should and shouldn't be moving at this point in time! Annoyed a few folk...

If this is true than it shows you how greedy the dealers are, wanting to get rid of all the shit first. I mean, I can understand it I suppose but annoying nonetheless. IF this is true then it points to better times ahead, just gotta go thru the crap first.

What's the deal with Wolves?! I know there's decent(ish) about but Wolves seems to consistently get shit. Even in the best of times I don't go 2 Wolves very often. I did hear of summat good near there but it never game to fruition.

West Brom (a bleeding stones throw away) has decent stuff.

I`m sure theres probably something about but I havn`t got the energy, petrol or the interest any more to spend half a day pissing around with bagheads (present company including myself accepted of course) on the off chance

We normally have a decent standard of tackle round here - A certain scottish city relies on us for alot of their supplies - can speak from experience I`ve lost a couple of associates to HMP`s from getting lifted making that connect

I hope something good comes up quick im on borrowed time - the love of my life and I went our seperate ways back in the summer which totally broke my heart - looks like were going to be able to sort things out soon and I wouldn`t mind one more decent nod before I have to turn my back on it for good - as you can probably guess my use placed alot of strain on our relationship I if we do sort it out I can`t risk losing her again.

Also i`m getting really good MDMA again now so my reasons to continue dabbling are running out fast - with a bit of effort, a bit of luck and a bit more drought I might only be a month or two away from getting a real life back

Well thats bad news for us down in SW, as liverpool is our main supplier, so that makes sense as to why its been only bash down here, but whatever is in it, it aint H, but it holds you..

Talkin about the asian supply, i can belive thats true about it being good, as i have friends from Milton Kynes, and London that say thats where their getting their's from, and its supposed to be 9-10/10 of pre-drought.. the thing is, i cannot afford to take a chance by sending money as have'nt got a lot, since loosing my job in Nov.. maybe i should take the chance, but to be honest at times i like feeling clear headed, i.e. i appreciate music n sex a lot more nowadays, so there is some good come out of this drought.. but still craving like mad, as im in WD's now, with no script, just had a nitrazapine, and dont feel too bad, highs n lows, good times n bad, emotional rollercoaster to say the least

Dont know about lpool but in London its always been the turks in north london who give it to the yardies to sell and the asians in east/west london. Good food has been in london since well before xmas now.

Don't think Liverpool has a significant Turkish presence either. Think a little closer to there and that's the route the gear historically came from (not speaking from personal experience here, but what I've heard and read about); though fuck knows who their ultimate source is /was.

EDIT: If this were a US problem then I'm sure the Iranians would have plugged the supply gap by now.

I read Keith Richards' autobiography t'other week. He speaks very highly of Iranian brown in there too. Says it was switching from the standard US gear to that stuff which helped do Belushi in, apparently.

LOL, makes u look a dick! About that 'fire', that's what I was told and compared to what's about everywhere else it IS fire but in my book it's just average gear (featuring Heroin of all things)!

Yeah it pissed me off it wasn't complete garbage holds me all day at work with no meth got a gear content I would say 3.5/10 120 a 8th the kid said It was fire who I gave a lift to score. I can get 5/10 for the same deniro and a more satisfing smoke so some one elses shit hot could be another persons average .it's nice to have decent weather and be back up work I was down to me last note after Xmas and not working for 6. Weeks . gear situ looks pretty grim round here atm don't it? i'm sure there is some good somewhere and i could go hunting for it, but i just can't be arsed with the hassle, that's just me though. obviously, like others have said, it's who you know and your contacts. i just stick with one guy, this suits me better so i don't have to rely on any random dealer in town, risk getting taxed or sold bashed bash etc etc etc.

who'd have thought this would go one for so long, if someone told us a few months ago we'd have a nationwide drought that would last from oct/november throo to new year and beyond, with little or no gear about well we would've laffed at them
