'A TEENAGE drug dealer caught in a Torquay club with the former legal high drug mephedrone is thought to be one of the first people to come to court after a ban on the drug was imposed earlier this year.

Michael Hooper, 18, of Clarendon Close, Torquay, was appearing for sentence at the resort's magistrates' having pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to possession of mephedrone, a Class B drug, with intent to supply on June 3, and possession of cannabis.'

'In interview with the police, Hooper said the drugs were legal highs NRG-1 and he had bought about 23 grams from a man in Exeter.'
 
It mite very well be small profit..

ROI is meassured as a percentage.

You dont have the information to decide he is making good or bad profit.

If its not over 300% its not good profit lol
 
He says that he bought around 23 grams, and had at least 17 bags on him. Thus, it seems reasonable to surmise that the bags contained a gram. That means that his ROI on each bag was over 100%. Of course value is subjective, but I think that most would consider that a fairly large profit. There are very few enterprises that would yield 300% ROI.
 
Of course, there's always the possibility it was reported wrong and that really £15 was the as-sold price and a small profit was included in that. Otherwise I'm sure his friends wouldn't remain friends for much longer in the face of such extortionate overpricing ;-)
 
^ha, yeah right, you start buying that shit in bulk it becomes practically free and all profit, and selling price wise it remains cheaper and has more bang for your buck than coke so your 'friends' stick around.
 
Well the fact is we dont know what was paid for it.

23g isnt exactly bulk in mephedrone land and its quite possible he paid over 10GBP a gram still... We just dont know and shouldnt presume.

Perhaps his friends didn't realize he was risking his life by treading into the triads mephedrone territory.

dealing and cutting high grade amphetamines-

i have been aware of someone who used to get amazing speed (it made me sneeze after a line and was in its pure form a liability-no sleep for days from one line) for £8 on the g, cut it 2:1 with glucose diluting with tiny amount of vodka (insider trick for making very even product, with good weight and smell) and sell the grams for £15, very good fluffy and yellow (it still looked oily), blow your nose off wizz.

that was some shocking profit they made %age wise
 
no one has picked up on the fact that OK this kid is making a quick buck but websites selling x-marks-thespot-researchchemical/mephedrone as NRG-1/2/3 are getting away with shifting bulk quantities and making a heafty packet.
