This article is fucking hilarious, allow me to translate.

"Buying hits of street dealers" means Buying drugs from drug dealers
"dropping out of drama school before the course had even started" means didn't end up going to drama school
"She even took a job in a seedy sex shop to help pay for her habit." means she got a job for money to pay for things
"I'm writing a book to help other addicts" means I'm cashing in on my deep (8 month addiction)

This girl had experimented with cannabis when she was 14. What that means, I have no idea. Could have been nothing more than a single toke. She had £10,000 of inheritance money and went on an 8 Month bender in Australia.

Not all "aspiring actors" are attention seekers, but she strikes me as the type of character that feeds off the attention.
No doubt all aspects of the story are massively exaggerated and she's making a scapegoat for her own irresponsible behaviour.

As other people have noted, she started on alcohol, it was the substance she used most, yet picks the easy target of cannabis as the focus of her point.

Sounds callous, but fuck it, it's more than likely true.

Makes better for more interesting reading for The Sun readers than "This is Gary, he's 46, has smoked cannabis for most of his life. He currently lives with his wife and two children, holding down a good job and is in good health".

I just find it amusing (and a little sad) that anyone on the planet still believes the anti-marijuana propaganda anymore.

One theory why (if there's any truth to marijuana being a gateway drug) is kids smoke weed and find out their parents and teachers and society in general LIED about this stuff; conclusion....maybe they lied about this other stuff too.
