THE Scottish Sun today exposes a shop flogging a legal high feared to have killed a teen reveller at RockNess last weekend.
In an exclusive investigation we found shop owners brazenly hawking Benzo Fury, which is said to be responsible for the death of tragic 19-year-old Alex Heriot at the music festival.
Our reporter tracked down one outlet selling legal party drugs in Edinburgh, where Alex was from.
We contacted the Drift Headshop through their flashy website, and after just one phone call an employee agreed to meet our investigator at their dingy unit on an industrial estate in the city’s Leith area.
Once there the worker let our man in, and flogged him a tab of Benzo for £8 a pop.
Reeling off his sales pitch, he warned: “They’re quite strong, I wouldn’t gub (swallow) all four at once in one go — but I suppose you could if you want.
“They’re very strong, you know, very rushy — they’ll keep you awake. One will keep you awake for a while. A few things to get you down at the end would be advisable you know.”
