Can anyone tell me please if these new freaking opioids like xylozine and nitazeme(?) are as addictive as street heroin used to be 3 or 4 years ago ? In Scotland I have only tasted/smelled actual H in my gear in stuff I get sent up to me from England occasionally !! At 60 yrs it has only been foil fever that has kept me going back after stopping no problem with my DHC’s (well apart from the fucking boredom , naturally) the smell of the stuff nowadays is fucking horrible and surely no way that the atrocious smell is all cut as it does give me a rush . Don’t think it’s fentanyl as I’ve never been able to grasp the financial concept of it being feasible to make money from cutting heroin with something stronger and I would imagine very much more expensive than opium paste.
Anyway, if somebody could tell me please if A) the fucking awful smell is down to these fucking ‘zemes’ or ‘zines’ and B) are they as addictive as Street heroin normally used to be , even 10% shit ?

Ps. Gear ain’t done anything for me , apart from keeping me straight, for absolutely years. I remember I got 6 month in Her Majesty’s Hotel, Perth in 2011 and I was getting through a half q a day at the time . As I had been on my DHC for years they started to give me them after a few days , which I had banked on. Unfortunately, what I didn’t bank was any gear to cover me for the few days that I was not going to get the DHC as I stupidly expected them to give me them straight away. Took couple oz shish in coz it has ALWAYS been a mainstay in my life. Could have swapped but I did tell the missus and kids that one good thing would come from getting sent down - at least I would get rid of habit. So , that , plus the fact that the gear looked like fucking oxo cube crushed up made me hang on till I got my meds. My cellmate , you had much experience in the rattling, said he had never seen anybody with their legs kicking quite so fucking badly ! Oh what fun I had for a few days. what actually fucked me up was the fact that they would not give me my fucking nitrazepam that I have been getting for the same amount of time as the DHC the reason I got given was that if they got out into the halls the prisoners would be bouncing about the cells ! Yeah, like they were gonna fucking get them off me . Very protective of my meds , I am lol. So they gave me vallys instead (like they would not have caused any problems if I ‘gave’ them away haha.
Anyway, point of that short story is that it was a proper rattle that time - two weeks and it was done and I was cursing every person on smack I came across. However, the stuff that is about just now I have stopped for three or four weeks and still had bits and pieces of the rattlesjust not the whole fucking shebang , no kicky legs, et cetera. Is that just the way that these ‘new opioids’ get you if u stop ???
