THE number of drug users hospitalised from taking legal highs in Swindon is soaring – with two deaths in the last three months alone.

Official data for the period shows there were 39 cases of people being admitted to A&E at Great Western Hospital after taking the drugs.

Steven Ross, 37, is in John Radcliffe Hospital, Bristol, where he was initially told he needed an artificial heart valve.

He had already ditched hard drugs but fell ill after taking MDPV, known by the street name of super-cocaine.

I Find it hard to sympathize with people who take mystery substances just to get fucked up, it doesn;'t even matter to these people. Just give them a fucking pill with some retarded name like LOLABUZ or ROFLXTC and they'll be all over it.

if those guys enjoy being human guinea pigs and dying, whatever leave 'em to it.
 
And the solution is, of course, to ban all and any legal highs for everyone. At least that's the conclusion articles like this would like us to reach.
 
MDPV (smoking at least) is well dodgy. I didn't like it and my mate almost got sectioned after a binge smoking it.
 
I can already see one problem with this article - MDPV is not legal. I think it was made a Class B drug at around a similar time to Mephedrone and Methylone.
 
Every death is horrible and I feel sorry for their family and loved ones. There's nothing more terrifying for parents than to have their own son/daughter die, and when you add the fact that it was an overdose to that... It must take a lot of strength to come to turns with it and move on.

I find it hard to believe people can be so irresponsible nowadays when you can find information about everything on the internet. On the other hand, I once consumed crazy amounts of stuff altogether actually trying to kill myself. If I had succeeded most people would probably say it was an overdose, some would say that I was irresponsible and dumb and brought this on myself. No one would probably realize it was intentional. I wonder if at least a few of all these deaths the media likes to use to tell everyone how "bad" a certain drug is and that it "kills" might actually be intentional.
 
My mom works at the hospital, and occasionally in the ER.

She told me "bath salts" are the WORST. Of all the drug users, bath salt users are the worst off, alleges my mother.

It is common for her to see people who have lost their sanity from abusing bath salts.

Besides the hospital, mom knows a few people who have lost it and committed suicide due to bath salt abuse.


folks if you want to get high, please dont fuck with bath salts. the shit's bad news.
