Uhm..diarriah on adderall...?

Sorry I know this isnt the nicest question but Im having a small problem with adderall and dont know if anyone has expierienced this.


I dose about 40-60mg adderall every 3 days or so, and I notice when I do at one point or another I get pretty bad diarriah at times...it doesnt happen all the time but when it does it causes a problem because I wind up being in the bathroom for quite awhile!!

Does anyone else have this problem?? I never really get diarriah regularly unless im sick or something but I get it so bad on adderall it takes about 20 min for me to get outta the bathroom....

Anything anyone can suggest or is this just a side effect to deal with?

it happens.. being a stimulant, adderall accelerates the production rate of the bowels, causing you to excrete shit that would most likely have had a longer time to solidify.

Yea, it's a strong stimulant. Diareah is common.

Is that right?? No Shit (no pun intended) i didnt know that.

It honestly is kind of annoying...I took 50mg this morning and had to spend like 30 min in the bathroom awhile ago...is there anything I can take to help with this??

I used to get this while on Provigil, big time. And more recently phentermine is hell on my bowels. Try using imodium and this should help with the shits.

It seriously can be quite frustrating...me and a couple friends were at the mall all addy'd a few days ago and in a store trying to show off some DJ equipment and I had to keep running to the bathroom, annoying -_-
