ugh, methadone

I dont find a high there though to be honest. I said before methadone i deadly as hell. its like suicide when you first start and you take benzos. My dose wasn't to high if you cant tell me you never nodded on maintenance well then you got some weird impure methadone or just had a 10gram a day tolerance. When I started methadone I drank GFJ freshly squeezed. I dont even know why. I just quit when I started realizing how dumb it is to get high on that stuff or to be on it for soooo long. I meant to drop 3mgs today and didnt due to lasts night erradic episode. I think Methadone should always be taken with caution experienced or not 5mgs WILL MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE....

All I'm trying to say is getting high on methadone is like getting high on ..........meph instead of ecstacy.....no actually its like this you never know if your breathings going to go shalllow. I'm on mmt and it fucking happened more than a dozen times I thought I wasn't waking up......

Aren't you taking benzos too though?

ANY DRUG CAN BE DEADLY AS HELL IF IMPROPERLY TAKEN. ONE HAS TO KNOW WHAT DOSE TO TAKE, the backround and the effects of the drug, duration etc...i find methadone to be the most euphoric opioid,(im very opiate tolerant, former heroin addict, and now on 16mgs of bupe/daily, so methadone is the only opiate that gets me high, and im knowledgable enough to know that it takes quite awhile to kick in, preventing me from resdosing and being disappointed thinking i didnt take enough, as most other opiates take 20mins to take in food for thought: The quicker a drug hits you, the shorter the duration, the longer it takes the drug to kick in, the longer the duration, now for me being on 16mgs of bupe a day, id have to stop the bupe for 2 days, and just taking 50-60mg of methadone gets me high as hell, and yes it keeps me up all night, happy and content itching, along with the munchies, which i enjoy, if i mix a benzo with the methadone, then i catch a nod and more euphoria....methadone isnt the right drug for a opiate nieve person to take because it's a little different of an opiate high then the other opiates, even if the nieve person is aware that it takes super long to kick in, and is aware of what proper dose to take without it being dangerous. when i first started taking opiates, i hated it, but learned to LOVE it over time, same with benzos. METHADONE ROCKS, im a huge BOOB too it is very addictive and abusive and a CII drug. be careful everyone, the methadone clinic downtown in my area, has 700 patients, just that one clinic, and on average atleast 2 people die every 3 weeks from overdoses when they get "take outs" and buying benzos off the streets...methadone is nothing but oral heroin...with along half life, and a long high.expect it to take 1-2hrs to kick in, but well worth it, uw ill be high for 10+hrs, and W/D free for 2 days, IME

i think the BOOB name caller is a boob themselves, also the person who calls other peoples experiences and opinions "lame comebacks" are just immature on this site, when ones intention isn't even to make a comeback or argument, ahem BananasAndOranges, If methadone isnt ur drug and for some magical reason u dont get high, then thats fine, dont promote to everyone that its comparable to a bad batch of ecstacy or something along them lines, many people consider Methadone a lifesaver, rather for opiate addiction or pain management, or recreational use, i mean damn due to my opiate history and being on bupe, i can no longer get high on oxy's, lortabs, only METHADONE gets me high nowadays

Methadone got me high as fuck the first time I took it, I mean HIGH AS FUCK. I took a very high dose for a first time user, a 40mg wafer. Although I had a tolerance to opiates at the time so it wasn't a dose that would have killed me. I was using heroin/oxy at the time but man, Methadone really sedated me at that dose. A really unique chill nod. I felt beautiful. For a beginner who is currently taking other opiates I'd suggest 10-15mg. For someone who is not currently using opiates in high doses then just 5-10mg. Methadone is strong but I don't believe 5mg will do much for someone who is currently using doses of oxy or hydro above 30mg daily. I think 10mg is a sweet spot for someone like that. Don't redose Methadone! If you took too little than well, wait for tomorrow with a higher dose. Remember it takes up to 2 hours to feel the full effects. If you hit the right dose you should be feeling a nice sedating nod. Have fun but be careful.

After a few years I wound up on Methadone Maintenance up to 130mg daily and at that dose I no longer said Methadone could get you high. I think anyone on MMT will say that.
