I'm really looking forward to this fight, but it's NOT going to be a super easy win for either guy. This is going to be a WAR. Why do you think Islam is just going to walk through Illia when JDM was able to take him 5 rounds? JDM isn't nearly as good IMO as Illia. I think it's going the distance, and honestly, while I'm taking Islam, it's pretty close.
Yeah, that's the fight I want to see really really badly as well. I doubt it will happen though as I don't think Khamzat will go back to 170, and I don't know who I think would win that.
His mouth is way too big, yes his an amazing fighter but his attitude stinks.

He kind of does, but IMO it's not really that bad. He's more just the type of guy IMO who's cocky because he knows he's really good. Like, do you remember when Gilbert Burns gave him that really tough fight at 170lbs a few years back? Well, right after the fight when they interviewed him he was very humble about it and admitted that he underestimated him and gave him credit for how hard a fight he'd given him. That's NOT the kind of thing that true assholes (IMO) like Jones or Colby do. Same could even be said for Connor. He was never willing to give credit to his opponents and still won't shut up about how he thinks he could beat Khabib and other guys who beat him.
AKA is great. I'm actually just also a fan of the whole Dagestan style also, as well as Khamzat's style. I find fighters from that entire part of the world interesting, and some of the surrounding former soviet countries like Shavkat being from Kazakstan, Murab (and Illia even though he lives in Spain) being from Georgia and Fiziev from Azerbaijan. I just kind of have an interest in different cultures and also just geography in general so I think these places seem exotic to me because of that and their fighters fascinate me.
