I don't really watch UFC anymore, but I had kinda hoped Aldo would put McGreggor down. I am not overly familiar with either but from what I can tell McGreggor is an arrogant prick.
"Losers focus on winners, Winners focus on winning." Said by the "arrogant" man YOU took the time to focus on, Conor Mcgregor.
God I love that guy.
Clean fighter/dirty talker > Dirty fighter/clean talker
...And that's every day of the week drug.mentor.
Like you said, you're not familiar with either of these fighters. If you were familiar with these fighters, you'd know that aldo fights dirty. His last two title fights were won using dirty/illegal tactics. E.G. Illegally grabbing the cage/fence to avoid take down, which ultimately lead to his first win over Chad.... Illegal late/cheapshot blows, combination blows to be more specific, AFTER the ROUND BELL had rung, multiple times. Again, this played a major role in his defeat over Chad in their second fight. Whereas Conor Mcgregor HAS NEVER used an illegal tactic his entire fighting career. I can definitely see though how and why you would relate to a dirty fighter like aldo.
There's absolutely nothing WRONG with applying and utilizing psychological warfare. Just ask Muhammad Ali. You think Conor Mcgregor is an arrogant prick? Go take a gander at some Ali memorabilia, then come back and tell me who the greater "prick" is. Ali would literally surprise his opponents out in public and trash talk them until he was blue in the face. Again, there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with this, the fight game isn't just about physical contact, it's also about mental/psychological confrontation, a battle of wills. Something you're undoubtedly unfamiliar with.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. would also be an honorable example of someone who's mastered the art of psychological warfare.
In addition, "No one can take that left hand shot" - Conor Mcgregor
Oh, and drug.mentor, would you be a lamb and kindly move this thread over to the Sports subforum. I was a wee bit intoxicated when I posted this thread last night. Thanks.
PS, I only drink on special-special occasions. The 2 whole beers I had last night were the first two alcoholic beverages I've had in 2 years. I don't particularly have a taste for alcohol. I'm just not a drinker, period.
