So I have Tylenol with Codeine (tylenol 3) which I was given for nerve pain. I would take two or so but they would leave me with bad side effects, namely shakiness and increased anxiety.

I am 3 months off gabapentin and 9 months off benzos and am still suffering a great deal from them. Could the shakiness be a side effect of those withdrawals?

I'd blme it on the residual effects from the benzodiazepine withdrawal then.

That's what I figured. But could the tylenol 3 have triggered them somehow? I thought they acted on different receptors.

Besides the crap Tylenol does to your liver, it's pretty useless when it comes to your CNS. I doubt it'd be causing you anxiety. In fact, if you search google using the words "Tylenol anxiety," the results that you get state that Acetaminophen decreases anxiety. However, anxiety can be a side effect of Codeine.
