Tylenol w/codeine

little bored tonight and have some tylenol w/ codeine #3

these have 300 mg APAP and 30mg codeine in each tablet. so a cwe would work with these right? ive never done codeine but i have done hydrocodone and oxycodone, not in months though.

so how much codeine should i do? and how does it feel compared to hydros and oxys?

Codeine is weaker than hydrocodone or oxycodone, and yes, a CWE would work on Tylenol #3s.

Starting dosage for codeine for somebody without any tolerance ranges from 60 to 120mg. Take a look at the opiate conversion chart in my signature for codeine's conversion to the opiates you've already tried (oxycodone/hydrocodone). Bear in mind that due to metabolic reasons, some people don't experience any effect whatsoever with codeine, or a diminished effect.

codeine BETTER than oxycodone? never heard anyone say that before but its all preference.
i dont know why but ive always looked at codeine as something not worth my time. i thought 'if its in cough syrup how good could it be'?

CWE 2 tylenol 3's so apporximetly 60mg codeine there and popped 2 others for 120mg total.

Not a problem, and everybody's preference is different, and codeine is pretty variable depending on individual metabolism characteristics and, well, their preferences.

I found that three tylenol 4's was usually a good dose when I first started out- so 180 mg would most likely be a good dose. You should always use an extra tablet when doing a cwe because you do lose some of the codeine in the process. 1000mg at a time is the max dose so if you are just going to take 3 pills anyway, you might as well take them by mouth. That being said, I usually go around 2g of apap per high and my liver is still fine, although I can't say I would recommend that.

Codeine inhibits the enzyme that metabolizes it so redosing is not an option. It's kind of a hit or miss.

How could you possibly prefer codeine to oxycodone?!? Well to each their own. But its a fact that oxycodone is more potent and provides a more powerful high. I'd suggest you take 120-200mg if you have a low to moderate tolerance. You'll probably need doses that high because your used to taking hydro & oxy.

You know what, my first opiate high ever was with codeine (270 mg). That high was so magical and blissful that I will never forget it. To this day, it provided me with more euphoria at the time than oxycodone or hydrocodone have ever provided me with. Now of course it's a totally different story. Codeine does nothing for me. Neither does hydrocodone or oxycodone, unless I take massive doses of either. Morphine/heroin and hydromorphone are all that work, and methadone.

Well yeah, I think everybody's first experience will be the best unless you didn't get high at all. My first experience was with just 15mg of hydrocodone and I got so high...it's too much to explain. Since I started with hydrocodone & oxycodone I was never able to get high with codeine.

If you are interested in trying opiates I'd actually suggest codeine because its best to keep your tolerance as low as possible. If you start with codeine you won't have as much expectations.

It is common for codeine to cause a release in histamine with some people. In fact in all people but some more than others. I'm allergic to Codeine & Morphine. Doesn't stop me from abusing them. I'll get awful red rashes from scratching so much at my skin. My balls itch the most. This reaction became less severe the more I abused them.
