Opioids Two used 100mcg Fentanyl patches

I know it sounds fiendish, but a friend who is a cancer patient gave me these. They are the gel patches. I have a relatively low tolerance. Do they still have Fentanyl in them? I can see the gel in them, but am kind of afraid of just opening them and eating the gel. I have only done fent once, and 25mcg (yes, per hour patch, ebola?) got me pretty high. Thoughts?
 
What do you mean by "relatively low tolerance"? Be more specific.

How long were the patches worn? Be SPECIFIC as possible, have an answer for each individual patch if you even have a way of determining which one is which if he wore them for different lengths of time. Even knowing this, doesn't guarantee much, but it helps.

Don't cut them open until you've answered and we've had a chance to discuss your path towards not killing yourself if you must do this.
 
I must not do anything. This is just a notion.

I am not dumb. I know what fentanyl can do. I have read the case studies thread. I have been here long enough to hear of a good many fentanyl overdoses. I may just throw them away anyway. I am curious though. It may be a waste. I could get them every three days, and they are the gel patches, which I hear are the good ones.

I can get nice and high off 40mg of Methadone, 50mg Oxycodone, 90mg Morphine, 300mg cwe codeine, 50mg cwe Hydrocodone....

I would like to hear from some people who are experienced with fentanyl. I am not.

I have a great deal of respect from you as well as a great deal of experience with fentanyl.

The only advice I would give you would be to throw them away. Drugs aren't worth your life and there's little room for error with fentanyl.
 
OMG. exp with fentanyl????? Im a veterinary nurse and Im telling you straight up, we use this stuff to sedate and euthanase cats, dogs etc. There is NO room for the slightest error. Jesus.....go play with a loaded gun. Its safer.

I agree with Wiggi. The only experiences I've had and the majority of ones people I know have had with fent, have been bad ones...

Fuck it. Toss um'. Easier said than done I know but...

Also, the high is really overrated. It's an incredibly potent chemical but that does not translate to good recreational effects. Honestly, and this sounds fucked up... you'd be better off with heroin. Not that I would ever advocate the use of it, of course. Just saying to give some perspective on how dangerous and not worth it fent is. H is obviously very dangerous too.. but you know that. As far as effects go, even decent H is more enjoyable than fent.
 
Jackie, I didn't mean ANY disrespect! I realise now that my final sentence was a smart ass one, but it came from a place of concern, and that was it -- not from a place of calling into question your understanding of fentanyl. I'm sending you a PM.
 
Before I read the last four replies, I had decided to throw them away. These replies have only reinforced my decision.

I had to think about it though. Free opiates are difficult to ignore. The friend is a girl, too, which made it seem more acceptable to put into my body... for some reason.
