These poems are permanently incomplete. I wrote the first in Berlin, and the second in Leipzig (after smashing my hand horribly). I am now back in Canada, free to write and be a democratic Canadian!

On the breath, like a name, between the lines
Drawn
In the circle, like a flame, among the minds
Picture
dances outside the flesh
Pan from side to side
from past to future, an idol of the rush
flickers in the frames
thin and wide, the gauntlet wanes
But splitting heads, it can be grace
Smashing along the beds
the blame of God
the people laugh
white and black
Go forth, slicked back
the haunted place
in half the face
in half the face

The Villain is Skipping Town

Everybody wants their love
but what really is the fucking stuff
is who, when and where
what you are and what you wear
Drapes, cloaks, rollin' bandages
Napes, blokes, swollen appendages
as long as you are where you are

the moves on pain were
old and cold, warm and born
from bed to bed and home to home
whatever you are, whatever you wear

Flag on the sea
Bobbing
For apples in woodens ships
Bobbies
Wave on
The receipt found
Salted smooth

I guess these aren't my usual caliber/style.....but fuckit, read and enjoy!

the first piece has some great phrasing. they almost trigger a new set of pieces. I'm dissapointed you say they are permantly incomplete, but I enjoyed them in their current state nether the less.
