I have a heavy heart today
I didn’t want to start this way
But here I sit with shallow breath
And face my biggest heartbreak yet
No words with strength enough express
The heaviness felt in my chest
The lonely sadness, fear, and pain
That fiercely scream ‘I want you again!’
But yesterday I felt just fine?!

I try to tell myself all that
But it’s two steps forward, one step back.
