Gently moving around your exhaustion inspired fragility
I wrap my all, surrounding you with me
Letting my energy and warmth ease you into the morning,
Where you step back into the world
Away from our dreams where we lay entwined in bed all day
The tears falling down my cheeks
Write the tale of desire and longing
For a day we can escape the external pressures
Retiring instead to a joyful leisure
Where time holds no sway on our emotions
Where duties fail to intrude on our
Solitude in togetherness
***
Caressing fingers and palms and lips,
And lightly sketching teeth.
Intoxicated skin and liquified thoughts,
Pushed to the brink
By the air-drawn trail,
Whispering down my neck.
Loss of control,
Senses drawing my body into the
Timeless, rythmic, consuming affair of two.
Souls caught up:
The precious, spiralling flow.
