Two questions, one about IVing your own meds, 2nd about Opana IV vs. insufflation

My first question is, and I hope it's allowed to ask this here, is it legal to IV your own medication in the US? This is mostly just a curiousity thing, the only medicine I've ever been prescribed to that is possible to IV is Suboxone and I don't really like the feeling it gives me so I don't do it anyway.

The second question (and please, if the first one is against any rules, just delete it and leave this one - thanks mods ) - how strong is Opana IV vs. Insuffilating it? I know it's quite a bit stronger, and have done it before and I am well aware of the risks and the rush, I am just curious (again) how much stronger it is. I would think at least 2 to 3 times if not more but just didn't know if someone could provide me the right answer instead of my wild guess. Thanks in advance!

Okay velocity92c,

The first question doesn't really belong here but from what I can see the answer is yes it is illegal. Drugs are classified by contents and method of delivery so if it isn't intended to be shot it can't be legally shot. In addition I think the same thing goes for taking too many to get high.

The second part of you question is called bioavailibility. If you click the link OD Directory in my signature or as found at the top of the OD forum you will get a list of all the important threads we use all the time. Click on the one called "Bioavailability/Half-Life Mega.." and look up oxymorphone.
