I have two categories for weed: the stuff that literally looks pretty and smells sweet and the stuff that doesn't look that spectacular and smells kind of "eh" or some stuff smells like rotten fruit. It's as if the weed I like could have come in a candy wrapper. And I just hate how people smoke anything less than that...

So is it just me or does sweet weed have sweet effects?

"Dude!" But what does mine say?

"Sweet!" What about mine?

"S - wee - t!" What about mine?

Meh, i dunno either.

You sound like a pot snob :p

OP, you are wrong. smell of cannabis is no indication of strength or effects at all.

how it looks is also no basis for strength.

and the "categories" for effects you speak of are indica and sativa.
indica is more of a stone (couchlock) and sativa is more of a trippy high.

but yeah, smell is no basis for judging strength. at all.

Its not always an indication of strength although if it does have a lot of visible trichomes chances are it will be fairly good pot. IMO you'll never know exactly how strong the pot is unless you actually sample it. Also I can't say someone is a weed snob if the catergories for their weed are stuff that smells sweet and stuff that smells eh.
