two 20mg's of amphetamine salts, first time user

Well swim is new here, and swim has a question. is taking two 20mg's of amphetamine salts too much for a first timer? also are amphetamine salts the same as adderall? swim knows that thats a generic version but what does that mean? thx, much luv

Adderall is a brand name for amphetamine salts, they have the same active ingredients but are made by different manufacturers.

40mg is probably two high for your first time. We don't use swim here so please either edit it out or just remember for the future to use first person pronouns. I am not a big amphetamine user so I'll let this stay open for a few views on suggested doses for the first time but you could probably get this information a lot sooner searching.

Taking 20mg is probably a better amount. You can always take the rest after if you don't feel anything but 20mg should be enough.

Yeah I think you should do 20mgs for your first time. You'll feel it and get a feel of what it's like without having a bunch of nasty side effects you may not be use to.
