Dancing my arse off anywhere to techno. Play me some techno, and watch a veritable dancing machine go for it.

Finding myself frustrated with people I consider friends when they do things that go against my fundamental understanding of the way we should act decently (ie calling if you are late). I hate doing this, as these are friends, and people you should be able to overlook this stuff with.

Actually not had lots of massages, they used to hurt me too much for some reason, and I'd always flinch when people would give 'em. When I've had good ones, it's been my neck, shoulders and lower back.

Strong in mind. I love thinking, especially really deeply and over-the-top analysing at time. Coming up with stupid crazy wack theories on the way stuff is is fun. Also, strong in the mind means you're more likely to be able to cope with hardcore psychedelic substances, which has always got to be a plus.

...nah, if I've gotta get stuff done, I can rouse myself from bed usually... just after 15 mins of stumbling around and getting my bearings. otherwise when i wake up.

I always liked this thing we had when I was a little kid, where you press the top down, it cuts and then turns around some. Stick an onion in it, smash the top a few times and voila, instant chopped onion. Come to think of it, the chopper was orange...

I'd love to be a fully-trained percussionist, able to play any type of tribal drum or drum-like instrument that anyone handed to me. I taught myself how to drum on a drum kit, but that's boring and near anyone can do that

Orange. Used to be blue, but then it changed to this semi-obsession with the colour.

Sports car, uses less petrol.

Dunno anymore. Used to be heavily into Christianity, but then I started thinking for myself and based my belief on MY experience of life as opposed to others that seemed to look down upon me.
I reckon there's something, but I dunno what. Sometimes this existance seems too damn amazing to be just coincidence. All in all though, I don't really care if there is an afterlife or not. If there is, cool, something else to do after this. If there ain't, this has been pretty fucking UNBELIEVABLE, and I really don't mind, as much as I feel privileged to have experienced This.
16. FAVORITE CHILDREN'S BOOK?
"The Way Things Work". It was this crazy illustrated non-fiction book that taught me so much about the way the World worked from such a young age. Used mammoths and stuff like that to explain rudimentary physics, moving along to nuclear power. I loved reading about that shit before I started high school, then I was forced to learn it, so I got bored of it.
17. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SEASON
Winter. Colder, so you can put more clothes on as opposed to taking them all off, and it's not usual that you get complaints about a hot sweaty club in winter. Also the skiing! Can't do that in summer.

Clothes washing. It always takes too damn long to do. They should make a combo washer/dryer/folder/dresser. That'd be better.

I don't. Not really keen on a tattoo, or a piercing. I had strange ideas about getting a series of pearl implants under the skin around my left wrist to form a permanent bracelet-type thing, but I reckon it'd get in the road and annoying after a while... but the novelty would be fun.

Ahh, another year on!

Woo, I'm going to do this again one year on and see if much has changed.
1. IF YOU COULD BUILD A HOUSE ANYWHERE, WHERE WOULD IT BE? At the reservoir at the top of my old street in Adelaide. How sad is that? Oh, anywhere. I don't care where it is. It'd be nice if it was by the beach, but the truth is, a house is a house is a house.

I'd actually like to buy the house we live in now and renovate it. If not, then somewhere near here. I like my suburb.

2. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE ARTICLE OF CLOTHING? My first boyfriend's old fishing jumper - I can't wear it anywhere except to bed, of course, because it smells like fish guts, but it's great. It was my Rip Curl hoodie until last week when it got filled up with haircut. Maybe now it's my slippers, or my sunglasses.

White sandals. Falling apart, but so versatile!

3. FAVORITE PHYSICAL FEATURE OF THE OPPOSITE SEX? Blue eyes and long eyelashes come first. Then dimples. Nothing's changed there.

I think dimples come first now. Maybe a combination of dimples + smile.

4. WHAT'S THE LAST CD THAT YOU BOUGHT? Pink Floyd - Echoes. Comfortably Numb is currently on repeat in my head. Um. Smashing Pumpins - Rotten Apples, I think.

5. WHERE'S YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO BE? In my bed with my leccy blanket, a couple of cats and a nice snuggly boy. At the library. I love the library, it's so quiet and peaceful and safe.

At my computer, being distracted. Or at uni reading the paper with a juice and a cigarette.

6. WHERE'S YOUR LEAST FAVORITE PLACE TO BE? Out ANYWHERE that makes me uncomfortable or nervous. Walking down a street at night by myself, or on a plane, probably.

Confined spaces, especially by myself.

7. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO BE MASSAGED? It's r00d. :/ Back. Hips. Back. Shoulders. Neck. Back.

Any of those will do! Lower back is the best.

8. WHAT'S MOST IMPORTANT, STRONG IN MIND OR STRONG IN BODY?
Come to realise that being strong in mind is by all means more important than being strong in body. Look at the difference between Stephen Hawking and Mohammed Ali (as much as I love ol' Cassius, he's looking less than well). Definitely being strong in mind. You can always employ someone else to take out your enemies. You can't buy a substitute brain, unfortunately.

Yep, I could word it differently again but the answer is the same.

9. WHAT TIME DO YOU WAKE IN THE MORNING? Lately, about 12:30pm. I used to be a real morning person though - up at 6:30 or so every day just so I could experience those crisp early hours. When Michael leaves at 6:45. I just don't enjoy sleeping by myself, really.

Depends what day it is. Usually around 7:30.

10. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE KITCHEN APPLIANCE? Toasted sandwich maker, duh. My WOK! Everything tastes good when it's cooked in the wok.

Um. I have so many, I don't know how to choose. Maybe the food processor.

11. WHAT MAKES YOU REALLY ANGRY? Some of the things I've heard recently. Nothing makes me more angry than people either a) not listening, or b) passing unfair and unjustified value judgements. Not being listened to and having words put in my mouth, I hate that.

My husband's attitude when he's driving. He's such an asshole on the road, it drives me crazy.

12. IF YOU COULD PLAY ANY INSTRUMENT, WHAT WOULD IT BE? I'd work harder on my voice. I've kinda broken it recently, heh. Then I'd take up piano again. Then drums. Then guitar. Then saxaphone. etc. Oboe, maybe. I'd imagine it's quite theraputic.

Oboe does sound relaxing. Some kind of wind instrument.

13. FAVORITE COLOR? Blue. It's the one colour that I believe can express a wide variety of emotions. Yep.

Grey. So melancholy.

14. WHICH DO YOU PREFER, SPORTS CAR OR SUV? V8 Supercar hee hee, yep.

Um, yep!

15. DO YOU BELIEVE IN AFTERLIFE? Heaven has been my reason for continuing on more than one occasion. Yeah, I do. How much it believes in me is potentially a whole other thread.

Sometimes. It can be comforting to do so. But it can make life confusing as well.

16. FAVORITE CHILDREN'S BOOK? Either Where The Wild Things Are, Whistle Up The Chimney, The Tiger Who Came To Tea or Angelina, Ballerina. All of those, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Possum Magic and The Man Whose Mother Was A Pirate (I've discovered this in the last few weeks when buying picture books for the baby).

Add "Guess How Much I Love You" to those.

17. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SEASON Spring. It always makes me that little more positive. Spring. Birthdays and lambs and blossom.

Winter, for snuggling and scarfs and footall.

18. WHAT'S YOUR LEAST FAVORITE HOUSEHOLD CHORE? Vacuuming. It's hard on the ol' back. Hand-washing dishes. Or hand-drying dishes.

Anything that takes more than 5 minutes and I have to get off my chair for.

19. IF YOU COULD HAVE ONE SUPER POWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE? 20/20 FOREsight. Yeah, 20/20 foresight sounds good.

Still working on that 20/20 foresight.

20. IF YOU HAVE A TATTOO, WHAT IS IT?
No. It will be a scorpion. Nope, but I'm pretty settled on this Escher design for now.

Not yet, too poor! Escher tattoo though.

21. CAN YOU JUGGLE? Not a chance. I can kick a footy though. No.

Um, nope. I haven't learned any more skills in a year.

22. THE ONE PERSON FROM YOUR PAST YOU WISH YOU COULD GO BACK AND TALK TO? -sigh- My Nan. Just so she could tell me that I was still a great person in her eyes. God, I miss her every day (I CRIED writing that sentence, what a loser). Yeah, Nan I miss her.

23. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE DAY? All the days look, taste and smell the same. What's the difference? Saturday. I don't like being all by myself all week, and Saturday means I get to sleep in and then go out to lunch with Michael.

Thursday. Michael has the day off and I have uni, so I get to spend a whole lot of time with myself and learn stuff.

24. WHAT'S IN THE TRUNK OF YOUR CAR? Like I can afford a car. There was a possum's head in my room though. A baby capsule, because there's nowhere to put it in the house.

A pram, a spare tyre and some random rubbish.

25. WHICH DO YOU PREFER..SUSHI OR HAMBURGER? Sushi. Prawn sushi. Hamburger! Mucho greasy hamburger.

Sushi burger! No, I don't prefer either, they both have their merits.

26. HOW DID YOU MEET BLUELIGHT? Bluelight is a person now? I was forced into it by my lovely ex-housemates Poi and Waterboy. Thanks guys ;P Yes I was.
