Tweezers for measuring drugs

Hello

I'm planning on ordering a milligram scale from Amazon and I figured I might as well buy tweezers at the same time, I imagine they would help positioning tiny amounts of drugs on the scale.

Just wondering what type would be best? As pointy as possible, or more flat? Two very different types:

I suppose you'd want the second ones, would be hard to hold powders with the first.

I find a scalpel works better than tweezers. Get a sharp one, and you can dig small amounts of drugs to and fro with precision.

Or alternatively I used to use the lid off a stool sample bottle (not used.lol). The lid has a tiny spoon-like bit attached to the inside of it.

I use tweezers like the first picture. The tips work well for small amounts, and the rounded butt end for amounts 50mg+.

Also, take a large straw and cut off the top half of it so it looks something like this: ===___

makes a perfect scoop

^I've done that also. Called it a "stroon" (straw+spoon).

Works well.

^ hah! Where I am from we called the cutoff straw a "scoopula" like a spatula and a scoop combined haha? Idkk. But yea any metal tool with an end that can scoop up 5-20mg at a time is what you want, idkk if u need to go all out and buy deluxe tweezers. Your call.
