I've been on Cipramil (european version of Celexa, citalopram HBr) 40mg/day for 8 weeks now. I scored myself some *really* nice meth last weekend (yes, it's rare in UK but it exists) but it didn't work quite the same way as i remembered it would.
It certainly got me wired and i was up all day and nite and day... u know how it goes. I would maybe have kept on going but I just didn't enjoy it nearly as much as i used to. It gave me loads of energy but all the euphoric effects were gone (sigh). Before starting Cipramil it used to really pick me up and put me in a super good mood but this time it just made me active. I had this urge to do stuff but i wasn't really enjoying it too much. Actually I got really bored doing stuff without enjoying it. It really gets annoying when something just forces you to do things when you would like just to relax a bit but you can't.
I suppose it's just good for me afterall coz i used to be a hardcore tweaker 3 years ago (I was addicted to speed for 2 years). Funny thing is that now the SSRI has kicked in I don't crave for speed anymore. This time I was persuaded to buy some because the stuff was sooooo good. All my friends praised it. But there really isn't a point doing it if isn't enjoyable. Before I would have had at least a 3 day binge but know i just got bored after staying up one night, funny...
Has anyone else had similar experiences with the SSRI + (meth)amphetamine combo?
 
There are those on this board who can tell you exactly why, but I bet anything that the Celexa is why you did not get a euphoria from the meth.
Don't expect to be able to roll on SSRI meds either.

I know rolling is pointless coz it just doesn't work. But I wasn't aware I can't get high off meth the same way as i used to. I pretty sure this is due citalopram.

read the anti-depressent FAQ...
it is by fairnymth and it tells you pretty much anything youd ever want to know and most of the drug interacions that would happen...
such as meth losing the loveiness...
