tv: Whats your favorite episode of the X Files?

^ Mulder wakes up in a hotel room with blood all over him and no recollection of how he got there. The episode is about him trying to figure out what happened and it turns out he underwent some treatment to help remember about his sister...

Then at the end the idiot gets the treatment done again...

The episode is called demons and it is in the fourth season...

Whoever mentioned Arcadia that episode was funny as.. (Admit it scully you're just looking forward to playing house :))

The two episodes in season six Dreamland I and II where Mulder changes bodies with some Morris guy are pretty cool too...

i am throughly enjoying sci-fi replaying all of the early episodes late night now since im re-discovering so many forgotten episodes

5 pm est and at night either 1am and mostly 2am

also:

David Duchovny told the British Teletext Web site that a second X-Files movie is in the works. "We're all on the same page," Duchovny (Fox Mulder) told the site. "Gillian Anderson [Dana Scully] wants to do it. I want to do it. [The X-Files creator] Chris Carter, who would write and produce the film, wants to do it. And I believe Fox the studio wants to do it."

Duchovny added, "When you have the four major players in the enterprise wanting to do it, it will happen. It's just a matter of when. I hope it happens within the next year." The 43-year-old star quit the TV show before it was canceled, but said he was eager to play Mulder again. "I think it would be fun at this point, a few years removed, to get back into it and do it," he told the site.

sweet, i will have to watch :D

Hells yeah! i miss the Mulder and Scully team.

Interpretation - "Noone else is giving me any acting jobs". :)

I think it is called ''Ice"

But it is the one where they are in a arctic base with a bunch of survivors, while there is a parasitic worm that once it is in you makes you homicidal.

I remember Scully having to throw all of her bullets out in the snow in case she got infected by it.

Damn.. that was years ago but it was cool.

I wish I got into this more when it was on, Australia does not play its repeats at all.

If anyone is interested in buying any of the seasons, www.totaldvd.com.au has them for 56 dollars (40 U.S.) each (The first 8 seasons) as they have run out and are offering a pre-order deal on the next lot they get in.

If you are interested just search for x-files on the site...

Foxtel actually shows them quite a bit on the Fox Classics channel.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned it, but the episode where the little girl has that doll thats capable of controlling peoples minds is a great episode. Scully even ends up putting it in the microwave at the end... =D

BUMP for a great thread!

another favorite episode.. Rush, the one where the kids go into the cave and get that crazy fast energy..

channel 7 have just started repeats, starting from season 1, on wednesday and thursday nights (11:30pm normally). hopefully they'll keep them going for a fair while...

Props to the BLer who brought up the excellent Stephen King episode.

Three other episodes that aren't my all-time favorites, but that deserve honorable mention; I can't remember their titles:

--the funny, weird episode with the vampires in the trailer park

--the episode with the genie

--the black and white episode that had a kind of Frankenstein feel

^hahaha the vampire one is a good one, Mulder singing Shaft was quite hilarious

Syzygy: hate him, hate him, wouldn't wanna date him.
Irresistible: very real and scary
Anasazi/The Blessing Way/Paperclip: the best cliffhanger i've ever seen

awesome choices carbine :) syzygy is awesome. HATE HIM WOULDNT WANT TO DATE HIM is something that i repeat often ;) just for kicks.

2shy is another. eww.. how fucking sick.

^ The coolest thing about that episode was how pissed off Mulder and Scully were at each other :)

It was funny, but in an awkward tense way.

Definately something different to the way the protagonists normally act in a given episode.
