tv: Whats your favorite episode of the X Files?

I have so many I can't pick just one....but the ones that come to my head right now are the one where the guy makes the bad weather because he has the "love from afar" thing going for his best friend...
My other fave would probably have to be the one that was done like an episode of "Cops"....

I didn't watch much of this show when it was on, but I thought the episode where Mulder tracks down a 1940's luxury cruise ship lost in the Bermuda Triangle was kickass.

I enjoyed the episode with the freaky carnival creatures...I remember the one carnie had a strange symbiotic relationship with a small, grotesque creature with a penchant for murder.

I think my favorite two episodes would be:

* The one where the town is inhabited by vampires. The story is told twice though scullys eyes and through mulders. The differences between the two are funny as.

* The episode where the ghosty thing enters the astronaut when he is floating outside his ship in space. Fuck that image freaks me out. I think it has something to do with the vast emptiness and loneliness of space.

^^Yeah the vamipre one told from 2 points of view is one of my faves as well :D It was so well done.

I also really like the first William Gibson episode. I think it was called "Kill Switch".

Another really cool one is one with this man that works at a call centre and he sees his coworkers as demons. He ends up taking hostages and Mulder and Scully rock up. And at the end Mulder sees the demon creature too. Something like that ! I can't really describe it.

There are so many more that I love !

The fiji mermaid episode was called "Humbug", and it's one of my faves thanks to guest appearences from Jim Rose, the Enigma, and Michael J. Anderson of Twin Peaks.

My other is probably the one with Charles Nelson Riley, Jesse Venture, and Alex Trebeck in it. I think it's called "From Beyond" or something.

lostpunk5545: i remember that ghost/space episode. The only reason why is because i dreamt about it after watching it.. i dreamt the ghost was about to enter me, the dream scared the fuck out of me!

The episode where mulder switches bodies with some guy (sorry can't remeber what his occupation was) and they had to go to some desert for mulder to change back, that fucking rocked!!

my all time fav has to be the one where the gov. does a test on this platoon, to make a long story short they never sleep again cause the operation they had released serotonin and all that. and this one black guy somehow mastered his mind to project peoples fears. the first guy that died saw all this chinks and they shot him. on the outside of his body nothing but on the inside it showed he got shot like 30 times.

that was agood episode.

the 'Home' episode, w/ the inbred family on the farm? remember that one? couldn't get that damn episode out of my head afterwards. pretty controversial when it was first aired, if I recall correctly. believe that one's from the 4th season.

I just watched Hell Money the other day, and I think it's the first time I've ever seen it! I don't know why. It's really interesting, about Chinatown in San Francisco. BD Wong who is now in Law and Order was a cop in it, and hell even Lucy Liu was in it, but she had a middle name. It must have been before her role on Ally McBeal .. But it's a good episode and I was really surprised that I've never even seen it!
