Does anyone else watch this awesome show (which has not yet, sadly, had a 3rd season confirmed)?

It's on UPN at 9 pm on Wednesday, although it will be on Tuesday starting next week. The premise is a high school student, Veronica Mars, daughter of an ex-sheriff private investigator who does some 'investigating' of her own, both to aid her father and her classmates. Despite the setting, it involves some very adult themes, such as rape, murder, drug dealing etc. It's not a kiddie show by any means.

It's the best show, IMO, that is currently showing eps.

Why I love it:

-well-written, witty dialogue
-great acting
-complex characters (few are truly 'good' or 'evil')
-clever plotlines, intrigue and suspense
-pretty cinematography and lots of eye candy for all tastes
-very much up to date, both culturally and technologically

Because it does have a very involved storyline, I strongly recommend that you rent the DVD of season 1 and then download the eps for season 2 (or I can send them to you!) that have aired so far, as opposed to just jumping in to the show now (the next ep is 18/22).

One of my buddy's loves this show. I've never seen an episode (no UPN here) but he says it's great, I'll have to check it out.
 
I always see episodes of it on BitMe but never really knew what it was about, I thought it was some disney kids show. I'll download the first season and give it a shot.
 
it's about time someone else talking about this show. i've been watching it since the very first episode. the first season has been the best so far, in my opinion. i've been trying to spread the word about the greatness that is veronica mars for some time now. seeing people like alyson hannigan and charisma carpenter also helps in the selling point.
 
Ive watched some previews and parts of episodes and it seems like every overdramatic teenage-geared piece of television trash. I cant stand the overcomplicated plots and constant cliched twists and turns. Maybe I should give it another chance, seeing as a lot of people seem to like it, but I havent liked a TV show like that since, well, ever.
 
TBH, I didn't think I would like it either (not into teenage/high school stuff) but I very surprised. It's the only show in that 'genre' so to speak that I've ever watched. All the other stuff I watch is Sci-Fi. I only gave it a try because people I trusted kept pushing it.

Oh and I HATE the previews (I avoid them at all costs). They are horrible!
 
Its not a bad show. Its better then most of the crap thats on now, though thats not saying much.

That blonde chick is one of the hottest women ive seen on tv in awile. For her alone that show is worth watching.
 
I've just recently seen some random shows on and to my surprise have actually enjoyed it......

And i must echo that the lead character Veronica is smokin hot....
 
YAY! It got renewed for a third season. :)

The S2 finale was simply awesome too.

Um.....most overdramatic teenage-geared pieces of television trash rarely have overcomplicated plots......*rolls eyes*.

I am absolutely addicted to this show (told ya Julia ;-)) It's smart, fun, spirited and just such a refreshing breath of air in the midst of all the cookie cutter teenage shows. Took me a while to warm up to it (or to even finish an episode) but once I did I couldnt stop.

Kristen Bell is SMOKING HOT.
