Has anyone followed the Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire series? If you have, then you're in for a real treat! Alan Ball, producer/writer/occasional director of HBO's now-defunct Six Feet Under series has announced that he is returning to HBO to handle production and writing/adapting chores for True Blood, a new series based on Southern Vampire.
The series follows Sookie Stackhouse, a barmaid living in Louisianna that can read people's minds, and how her life is turned upside down when the Vampire Bill, walks into her place of employment two years after vampires 'came out of the coffin' on national television.
