tv: Touching Evil (USA Network) - the 'Ketamine' Episode.

I'm not sure when this show (Touching Evil) is normally on. But around me it reruns at 11:00 on Sunday nights on USA (I'm pretty sure it's a USA show.) It's about a guy who got shot in the head and is now a cop with like psychic something going on, cheesey, silly, yeah...but I've got a wicked insomnia going this close to finals, so...it caught my eye in tv guide and I got intrigued.

Anyways, they had this episode where there were a bunch of kids mutilating horses and killing bums, supposedly on K, and not only that; they showed the kids taking PILLS and then like being all speed freaked (think Spun) out. Very not K.

Very strange, and totally propaganda, since it's never been mentioned before (of course I searched) I wondered if there were any reactions.

I believe it originally aired last Friday, maybe 9-10 US central time.

propoganda? No I don't think so: just garden-variety ignorance. I wonder how much a bluelighter could get paid working as a hollywood drug fact checker, the way they pay cops and nurses to add authenticity to hospital and police scenes.

oops, sorry it was really late: no, touching evil, doesn't seem enough like law and order for me to enjoy it. It comes on reccomendation from my folks, but I take everything they say with a grain of salt, becuase they also watch w/o a trace, cold case files, and CSI (triple bleh!)

it is on before/after law and order reruns on usa so it makes it easy for me to catch it from time to time...
and it has never caught my attention enough to even watch after the first commercial

boo on ill educated shows when they focus on drugs and spread counterfactual (like you said the k episode did) and just plain erroneous facts
